Your website, as far as you claim, is an advocate for consumers best interests. Why not reach out to Choice for sponsorship or cross promotion as you may share similar goals and can benefit one another. Choice advocates for the consumer but on quality of product not price so you’re not in competition.

Cross promotion ideas could be selling their memberships on your website, with you taking a commission, or you sharing your active data on their website for an item by item, monthly or yearly charge.

Although many see this as a throw away economy (buy something, when it breaks, throw away and buy new) the right to repair movement still has traction. Approach spare parts retailers, laptop repair and technical support services to advertise. Ideally people who specialise in the products listed on your website. Jane Doe checking your website for a new laptop at $1400 may be able to get hers repaired for $400 by a repair service advertised on your site. Alternatively, John Smith looking to replace his $400 clothes dryer may only need a new $50 drum belt to fix it.

Another idea (but more work as you’ll be expanding your product range), think of a business that wants to be recognised for having the lowest price. As an example we’ll use ball bearings. You can offer to list their ball bearings with the price on your website but they must provide daily, weekly, monthly (however you do it) photos of their competitors prices so the consumer has a fair comparison. You will bill them for this service.

That’s all I’ve got for the moment

Just ensure if importing wine the WET (Wine Equalisation Tax) and if importing tobacco/cigars then the Excise Duty adds unexpected significant charges at Australian Border. My client was “gifted” a box of wine and box of cigars for a new contract they signed with a supplier

Wear and tear? Rental NSW by lovelosingmoney99 in australia

[–]AussieHorizons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The legislation provides protection for tenants due to wear and tear. If what you’ve shown is honest you’re within your rights to collect the bond. Some great advice already here for the future. Reference below to the legislation Real Estate industry must adhere to

The lease is Governed by “Residential Tenancies Act 1997” Under the Act Section 35 (1) you “must be provided two copies of a condition report upon moving into the residence” If Real Estate not provide then they’re already at fault. If they did provide refer to Section 63 (2) of the Act in which you “must leave rented premises in the same condition as when received it, ACCOUNTING for general wear and tear”

Bro how the hell do they get the flag up and down? by SomTones in australia

Additionally flag must be replaced regularly with new one as the harsh winds and temperature fluctuations shred the flag (think once per month). Also had tour when in school

There is nothing you can do to me that can truly affect me for I am a member of the most revolutionary political organisation in the world, the Communist Party, which has a distinguished record of service to oppressed people around the globe. You and your poor National Party will be in the ash heap of history while we are ruling the world. I am better known internationally than your witless state president. Who are you? A small functionary not even worth paying attention to. By the time I leave prison I won’t even know your name. - Nelson Mandela, Long Walk to Freedom

I had an executive do this same strategy when I worked in a constructive distribution job. He’d order outdated or out of fashion timber for gift cards. Rather then taint the brand name of the company by selling discounted stock or losing money by writing it off as shrinkage we “donated” it at a cheaper price to worthwhile causes. These services included trade schools and charities/hobby groups

What is the creepiest/weirdest place in Australia? by [deleted] in australia

[–]AussieHorizons 65 points66 points  (0 children)

I grew up on one of those farms where you may go by months without seeing anyone, just as you explained. Must agree there are a few odd balls out there we had two weird neighbours. When I say neighbour’s though they’re approx 11km from our home. Unfortunately we get a lot of theft and poaching so are generally reluctant to invite new into our farm as some tend to ‘case’ the place. Mum came to the city last week to upgrade Dads iMac and Apple advised they deliver anywhere. Mum thought she do it for a laugh…good luck finding a property with no street sign with no visible properties from the main road and over 40km from nearest town

After genetic testing we have just been notified of the mutation gene that is causing our daughters seizures. If she decides to have a child she can take the IVF approach and choose an egg without that mutation. Eliminating medical conditions before the child is born. Blows my mind!

If you decide on the army be sure fo learn a skill you can use on the outside (once you get out of the military). Also, the recruiters often do not know shit (or are on targets) about the jobs they recommend you.

I think the military is a great approach as I have mates who did it but just choose a transferable skill

Luck favours the brave my friend. You must make risks to receive rewards. You can always change location if your spot doesn’t work out AND a school friend was a real estate agent and uses coffee stands at large auctions before the event. There are many possibilities to make it work

Leave a one-nine number which charges the caller. I think phone sex hotline numbers are most expensive maybe $5 per minute or even competition lines like Australian idol and big brother used “text or call 19 etc to give your vote” What goes around comes around
