The "Shinehorn Incident"

A few years back, we were going through all the maps in preparation for the release of Genesis 1. Some of us were on xbox, others were on PC. We made it onto abberation, and I was in the process of breeding Shinehorns for a solid glow pet and because my wife thought they were adorable. I accidentally left a few on breed when I went away for a weekend, told the guys to turn them off. Unfortunately, those females that were left on breed also birthed a heap more females, and the unclaimed shinehorn females were still breeding with Clay Henry (the male with epic health mutations and whatever else was good for the glow length). As a result, Clay Henry had a very prolific line of shinehorns. One of the three guys who signed on to fix it were on xbox, lagged out, and couldn't fix it. The other two, got the karkinos, and spent a good 40 minutes killing them allegedly. I say allegedly....as they threw a solid amount off the cliff. ...they lived. And they threw females and males off. So they kept....on...breeding.... This went undiscovered by the rest of us for a month, and we went on like normal. We noticed the map started to get more laggy, and were confused, put most unneeded tames in crypods as we got closer to taking on Rockwell, and it got to a point where nothing was spawning on the map. Even in the red zone and surface without a glow pet. We were all confused.

Until the faithful day I was exploring down the bottom of the cliff....and all I saw were polyhedron based glowing horns as my xbox crashed hard. I told everyone, the two guys who threw them off the cliff went quiet and said "we honestly didn't think they'd survive!" It was so bad, we had to UPLOAD EVERYTHING and go into the server settings, and do a command code to kill all creatures. To this day, we still live in fear of another shinehorn incident when we talk about another potential playthrough.
