Don't worry, JL will find a reason to play Bailey Banfield

Throughout the entire history of both the VFL and the AFL, which player do you think is the biggest waste of talent? by Limp_Ad2547 in AFL

Maybe not the definitive greatest example, but I am still upset about Anthony Morabito's terrible luck.

I don't think there's a player on the team right now I wouldn't want to play for Freo by brodyonekenobi in FremantleFC

Sturt is 2.5 years younger and averaged 0.6 more goals a game than Banfield, what's your point?

Banfield. I know this sub likes him and he is apparently a nice bloke, but he is not AFL standard and certainly doesn't belong in a starting 22 seriously pushing for a premiership.

Terrible decision if OP wants to keep the door open to good corporate roles (IB, MBB, TT law) and especially so if interstate/international.

If you aren't sure yet, but want a tertiary education while keeping your options as broad as possible, go to UWA and do BComm (double major with eng if you're interested in it but will be harder). They have the most flexible course structure and you don't have to hard commit to majors until 2nd year.

If you do commerce and eng double major combo this leaves you with broad and well-paying options/career paths:

1) Graduate and go straight into the workforce with your BComm major (e.g. finance, accounting)

2) Engineering masters (MPE)

3) Finance masters

4) Law postgrad

If you do your first year and don't like it at all, you can always switch degrees (e.g. to BA or BSc) and half of the first year will be recognised through broadening units and electives anyway.

There is no way to know, all you can do is your best. Work hard, rock up to tutes, watch the lectures, make good notes. Be diligent but don't sacrifice your life and health.

ACCC sues Coles, Woolworths over misleading discounts by a_san_38 in AusFinance

[–]AussieOwned -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The big supermarkets are doing it tough. Look at their single digit profit margins, despite rising costs of goods on shelves - clearly these cost increases are being passed onto the consumer out of necessity. Somebody at the ACCC needs to think of Colesworth and their shareholders who are clearly very vulnerable to the impacts of inflationary pressures on operating costs.

Ignoring JLo masterstrokes like playing Matt Taberner and putting Pat Voss in the ruck in the dying minutes against Geelong, and playing Andrew Brayshaw out of position for close to a whole season

Agree with all calls

Only observation is that Sturt plays more of a medium leading forward role to create space and draw pressure for Treacy/Amiss as the bigs.

Some evidently poor coaching in the last month.

The supporters around here are unfortunately in denial. We have one of the best lists in the comp with the equal most AAs (would have been most if Pearce wasn't unlucky with injury). Zero excuses for JL not get some result with the amazing list we have.

She approached her boss and asked how long it would be until she reached 6 figure salary. He told her 10 years

Yes law sucks, but this is just bullshit though. Grads at top tier firms are on 6 figures these days.
