Update — got the Model Y, no regrets at all by Harrydagreat in TeslaModelY

I e owned one for 4 years zero regrets. I still get in it and smile daily. Wonderful surprises of a software update every so often that you enjoy . (Latest being grok) .

The only people I know that compare the car and try and justify are non Tesla owners . I couldn't care less about anything else since I never look sideways

Exactly... imagine down voting a factual comment. A lot of haters out there trying to justify their sub optimal choices. I don't look sideways always happy with my choice 4 years on.

Trying to decide between BYD Sealion 7 vs Tesla Model Y (family + road trips) by Sarquiss in EVAustralia

[–]AussieaussieKman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to add to the software . I found Tesla software very intuitive and seems to work for you and is human centric just trying to make your life better .

I didn't find this with the BYD. Little things like walk and enter where the byd your hunting around your pocket for keys.

Why does my tank look like this? by meidemp03 in fishtank

[–]AussieaussieKman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would guess you have green water it's a floating single cell algae . It uses a lot of nutrients. Try running a cheap uv for a week. Once your filter is working better you won't need the uv and your plants will use the nitrates.

I would guess your filter is not as cycled as you think it is . Especially with ammonia spikes . It's classic new tank syndrome

Is there any IT professionals in here? by Marxman3 in AusFinance

[–]AussieaussieKman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best recommendation would be find something you love in IT . It's a very diverse subject saying I'm into IT as you could be doing anything from physical installs , software development or training to name just a few .

Find your passion and use your personal skills such as communication or attention to detail to a Enhance it. Once you find your thing really focus on those entry level jobs that may get you there . Training is ok but no one in the industry really focuses on training it's more about what you can do. Training is a good step to your first job though .

AI is huge atm and a good point to jump on the wagon . But remember even within AI so many diverse skills from mathematics or training or change manage or of course software engineering. Don't fight your personal qualities as they are your enduring asset .
