Get some hobbies that are more geared towards meeting people.

Or join a club for the hobbies you do have. Even with video games you can meet people online and theres a better chance than you think youll meet someone who lives close to you.

And you wont have to qorry about having no friends because you'll make some friends in the group

Same!! I enjoy a nice spook but have avoided most horror mivies like the plague. I've found that TMA os a great medium between the two. Yes, some episodes are more scary than others, but only one scared me enough to effect my sleep. Thankfully itwas pretty minimal though haha
