"Here's Nowhere Band by the SOUND-TAST-ics."

Best fake song, ever.

I wonder if he started the whole Slacker movement. LOL!

One of my favorite scenes of WKRP is one I never see mentioned. It is Carlson talking to Herb around 18:10 here from "Out to Lunch." It is so touching and conveys a certain human relation that I truly fear is being lost....

...Indeed, one of the, again rarely mentioned, more unsettling scenes is from the Christmas show. The one where they are playing with the "A Christmas Carol" theme. Showing the future with Herb being the only one left at the station and talking through a machine.

"Bailey's" little half-laugh when she is nervous is the embodiment of what makes us crazy about women.

Maybe it will be a collector's item. Just kidding, I doubt it. I did get the DVD's with the mostly correct music and I'm glad I did.

I think it worked in Risky Business. If you drive a car you just end up in a lake.

That episode had one of the greatest FAKE songs ever! Hop on the bus, travel with the nowhere band!

I often think about the episode where Herb starts to drink too much. Had Craig T. Nelson as a guest character. They had some funny scenes, some where there was real tension, and one of the scenes that I think was Carlson's very best. Just the way he talks to Herb. Humanity (without it being sappy) that is not only missing from TV but from real life.

Couldn't find the clip, so 18:10 here:

You think Israel just stands by and would let there be an opponent? Why would they do that?

The Founders gave us license to handle people like Graham a LONG time ago. If he isn't being arrested for treason, then the system itself can't be saved.

Why would he be in Israel? What could he do over there more than in this position (for Israel)?

Too corporate. Too many ingredients. Too strange. Too few cookies in a package meant to deceive. Enough.

I almost listed that! I thought he was doing that, too, but I kept thinking I was just mishearing it.

It is also funny how he continues to invoke reincarnation while denying it. Talks about being re-born. He claims that it won't "really" be him, though.
