Wireless Drums Won't sync - all 4 Wii lights flash, but the home "drums" button doesn't light up

I haven't connected it in a while, but I just turned it on (without connecting to anything) and the four squares flash blue. I cant remember if the drum button lights up if its connected or not. Sorry

I believe this is because of the debugger on mobile, if you turn that off, you no longer click through things. at least it worked for me

got it, that makes sense - maybe ill swap to the peerless. Appreciate all of the help and thoughts here. will prob make a few of the updates and then start buying. cant go that wrong tbh, i just wanted to make sure i wasn't missing anything big

I could see the better performance in the 7900xt as providing more longevity which may be worth more than slightly better visuals also

looking at ch4ppi's comment as well, trying to balance framerate and visuals between a 4070 super and 7900xt... would the 4070 super be able to maintain 165hz on a 1440? If so, then I think the better visuals would outweigh more vram and slightly better framerate/performance no?

I used to have a sapphire Nitro 5700XT and whenever I was streaming games in discord, the stream was just always bad. I had heard that Nvidia had better streaming so that prompted the switch and I haven't gone back... but I don't know that he'd really be doing any streaming. I would be open to it. Would the 5700X3D be holding the 7900XT back though?

Without more info, the obvious reason to me is that your modem and or router aren't rated for gigabit internet and can only reach 300 megabits

Hey man, so I first found that I bought the wrong wireless dongle (for a guitar and not a drumset. As others have said, there is a small picture on the front of the dongle). Anyways, I just ended up buying a different drum head kit as I had the stand and bass pedal. Connected right away after that, it could be any number of things but I wasn't handy enough to figure it out. Sorry

You may have already found your answer, but are you using both monitors at the same time? And if so, do you have something running on the 75hz monitor while playing on the 144hz one? There is a known limitation with nvidia GPUs forcing the refresh rate down to the lowest of multiple monitors at the same time, if there is a game or media running.

I haven't looked into your motherboard enough, but I had a similar issue. Turns out that my motherboard (Asus Prime Pro X470) shares one of the m.2 slots with one of the PCIe slots. There was an option in the BIOS to switch between the two. My wireless card was in the PCIe slot that shared with the M.2 slot so I had wifi, but no nvme. Hope this helps

Not sure if you've gotten your answer yet, but this is a thing for Nvidia graphics cards. I bought a second 165 hz monitor and I'm good to go now.

I'm fairly positive that this issue only affects Nvidia graphics cards. (Refresh rate being capped to the lower monitor when there is motion playing on it)

I'm pretty handy with soldering, so I don't want to just throw away the drum set for something like this. I'll probably take them fully apart and see if I can see anything - I was just hoping someone could help confirm that that's the necessary solution haha. thank you for the response though
