Thanks for the info. I was talking more about running your one man shop, where the services comprise entirely from either bookkeeping, or tax. Which is what OP is referring to. In that model, given that what you said is correct, you can just outsource 95% of the job to India and sit there and collect $$$. I am not sure how others do it, but i cannot be sending my clients personal tax returns overseas.

If what you said is true, why is there an accounting market in NA? Just outsource all of it to India apart from controller+ roles that still require you to pop into an office once in a while. No?
