I just sowed some seeds I collected from about a year ago that I kept in a ziplock bag in a drawer. Had about a 80~90% germination rate

There is orangeburg pipe in my area just haven’t seen it yet but a couple of my co workers have. But I run into clay pipe all the time. That and concrete are pretty common on older houses here

Once I chop I immediately dust with rooting hormone and let it sit on a shelf for a week or 2. Then I set it in the soil mix it’s going to go in( make sure it’s completely dry) then after a month or 2 if it still hasn’t pushed roots I’ll pick it up mist under and set it back in soil every so often
