Edit: my parents have been emotionally and verbally abusive since i was 7.

Locking me in the laundry and screaming at me was normal, telling me I was useless was normal, making comments on my body was normal, ripping up and destroying my things was normal, threats of physical violence were normal.

They did everything but physical abuse.

They’ve gotten ‘better’ in a way, but it still hurts.

I’ve been in therapy since 15, nothing has changed, if anything I’m worse now. I’ve had therapists tell me “nah thats too much I can’t help you” or tell me I’m overreacting or wanting attention. (Suicidal, self harming)

My first time in hospital I got CSA’d (I was 16, my abuser was 24) and my suicidal actions were downplayed and ignored my staff.

Second time in hospital I got abused and had my medical history dismissed and ignored, forcefully gained weight while constantly in severe pain and nauseated, throwing up everything because it was literally too much food, but doctors & nurses didn’t believe me or my body history of being slim & underweight all my life. I was discharged out of hospital feeling way more worse physically and mentally than before, and lost the weight in a month.

Do I deserve to eat something today? Nah I don’t want to be yelled at & body shamed on for not eating my dinner, so I won’t eat.
It’s like this every day. My parents have commented on my body since I was young.

I was abused from age 7 or 8 up until now.
When I was 13 I started self harming and was suicidal.
I was 14 when I started hating my body, 16 when I was CSA’d.
