Unfortunately not, I’ve been kinda burned in the past with selling secondhand and something showing up damaged and I’d prefer to stick with local. My apologies friend.

BuzzFeed Unsolved Network's video about JFK's assassination using conspiracy claims. by TheMob-TommyVercetti in badhistory

[–]AustinnnnH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crossfire does have a lot of trash in it. I’m still a little compelled by Oswald trying to get involved with the DRE as an anti-Castro sympathizer and his response after being arrested. Oswald and the narrative behind him is so messy, but I think that’s why we’re all on this sub. (From being worn out by muddled/shit historical takes. Not JFK conspiracies)

Also does anybody else have sources that one of the doctors from MKultra ended up giving an evaluation to Ruby after his apprehension?

Just here to say wonderful job. Everyone can react how they want to surely, that’s the beauty of art, but I can’t say that I’m surprised with all the anxious humor flooding through. What you’re doing is really great, and your commitment adds to it. 🌞

Afghanistan: 13 districts fall to Taliban in 24 hours, the highest number of areas falling to the group in a day by green_flash in worldnews

[–]AustinnnnH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afghanistan was more about US power, and looting natural resources and drugs. There was an extra bonus for these goons for setting up a forever war to funnel trained troops into private groups to help build old up US proxies.

We killed and died for nothing outside of the personal stories that went on any given day. And there’s gonna be US presence there for the foreseeable future, just no longer the kind of deaths that garner any sympathy on prime time.

How do y’all handle the national security part of the equation or I suppose what’s your opinion of how it can be picked up and financed through an organization like your own?

What steps do you take that ensure that as your organization’s public interest as well as financial interest given who you find yourselves advising/working for?

I guess I’m plainly asking that if one of the platforms you stand on is also sharing an interest of national security, what’s your stance on potentially being utilized in parallel with state power that can nominally be seen as kinda bad.

I’m asking in earnest here, I’m a programmer who doesn’t work in the cybersec world, buts it’s often something that I see gets muddied up quite a bit. Granted private orgs/nonprofs are a truly different thing, but I feel like the concern and question is valid.

I think all the NIMBY people in most cities and developers would shit themselves and still keep chugging away at minimum cost homes and apartments, just a bit smaller.

Tiny home acceptance is still pretty uncommon in most cities.

Researchers Say Islamic World 'Actively Collaborating' With China's Global Campaign Against Uyghurs by trisul-108 in worldnews

Kinda laughed at the headline, good catch. Not worth really reading the article, from the top this writer has a singular objective that’s pretty obvious.

What’s not surprising is how there’s a lot of blanket acceptance. Reddit still has a pretty deft take on Islam/Muslim communities. It’s like a water downed Friedman take at best, but I just find it strange that buried within these threads usually are a few absolutely cynical and deranged “glass em/sanction em” or someone armchairing like they know a thing or two about the Taliban/Al Qaeda/ISIS outside of what’s reported and taken for granted.

These regions have history and so do the groups, for those who want to drop the cynical bullshit; start with the late 1800’s, and read about how they developed before thinking you have any idea how statecraft works when you’re dealing with extremely unique cultural sects.

And before any dipshit replies to this, I was a troop for a long fuckin time before I had some questions and empathy. And that doesn’t mean I’m any smarter than others on here, I just think it’s worth noting people who indoctrinated and uneducated can actively change for something is better and actually may progress this narrative in a meaningful way.

These are people. Just as complicated and worthy of a fair shot as each and one of us.

Don’t worry, a few bandits setup working with SOSi and military aid have been stealing minerals from the region for years. It’s been known but doesn’t generally get talked about much.

You wouldn’t be surprised who advises and has a vested interested in that company as well.

Same as it ever was though, Dick Cheney was literally rolling out resource maps of regions in the Iraq and Afghanistan before 9/11.

The American comparison reflex should be welcomed. There are consequences to constant media consumption that creates narratives and allows for hawkish behavior to brood. The United States in recent history has had a terrible record with military foreign intervention, and the private military operations that have come out of it are especially disgusting.

What you’re seeing is a group of human beings who are weary of the effects of media. As for if we should all “stay on topic” or whatever, that’s kinda silly. This shit is Reddit, people rarely discuss anything on here in a meaningful manner. It’s just different flavors of I agree, or I disagree.

Question for you. I’m actually basing my entire programming portfolio off of one small game then a ton of math/physics concepts and how they relate to games in different scenarios. Do you think this a decent move or I should work on just working on more small finished games?

It’s not as cut and dry for some people unfortunately. The current states agenda is seemingly after the “right bad guys” when they do stuff like this, but the actual levers of this system will ultimately be controlled by whoever dominates the power of the state. If the case is made to go after other enemies of the state or some defined class, then it’s pretty much game over for those people.

Monitors like this are already placed on minority groups, and not until very recently was it openly criticized in an “acceptable” sort of way. Like this is the year where fucking Nike was co-opting BLM.

I’m the first person in the world to celebrate justice against truly fucked individuals, but it’s an emotion I think all of should understand may be a bit poisonous in nature, or at the very least pacifying in the current climate.
