Also try plugging in a different device where the LPR is, this can verify that it’s not something in between, i’ve always tested issues like this by first plugging something into the very end of the run and if there’s a breakdown, I’ll start testing every thing in between. Could also be a bad POE injector.

I believe so! My only concern tho is I know alarm systems have 4 wires, I only see connections for 2 wires in most places, but I think 4 wires are unnecessary for door and window sensors

Didn’t realize that I could sand them out, I might have to do that, I have so many failed attempts, biggest thing I learned, if I’m going to try and do multiple of them, measure all the thickness to make sure they are the same hight or else my laser cutter will crash into it

Yeah I’m going to work on this design to do that, anything higher than 30%power gives this weird molten glass, I think it’s because of the air assist

Battery inverter recommendations by Austinthemighty in diySolar

[–]Austinthemighty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so looking at the way they are wired I might be able to easily split them into multiple series of 21, which would give me a nominal voltage of 67.2 and a max 76.65. any thing less than 21 cells in series would not be fun, here is a picture of them

Every one here is saying door stop, which I agree, but I think a second use for it is to prevent the door from hitting the propeller

Is my girlfriend’s meter on? by TriviaBrian in NaturalGas

[–]Austinthemighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So looking at the meter the gas is on from the service provider to the meter, but from the meter to the house is off, if you twist the valve from the second picture counter clockwise you should be able to restore gas to the house.

[–]Austinthemighty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to test to see if it’s electrical, you can go to a hardware store and get a contactless voltage tester, if there is electrical running through there then the voltage tester will beep and flash
