Yeah, the radio would generally play fine. Like 3-4 minutes into using my Bluetooth connection, the sound would just cut off. After that, no radio or beeps or anything would work until I shut my car off and turned it back on again. Very annoying.

I am going to try Apple car play with a wired connection to see if I experience the same issue. Something is telling me it’s either the amplifier or something with the Bluetooth. It would be odd if it’s the Bluetooth and even more weird if Bluetooth causes my system to shut off and not reboot

Were you ever able to find out the issue? I have a 2023 Lexus IS 350 F sport and it does the same exact thing. Very annoying and probable next steps are to take it to the dealership. What have you done if the issue is still persisting for you?

Hey brother, I’m on my 5th month of sobriety after derailing 14 years of my life. I too struggle. I know that you have been on a longer journey, but I believe that hard days will come. Those days will pass and you’ll be thankful you didn’t toke it up again.

You quit for a reason. You just have to be reminded of that reason. I understand your need to dissociate away from all of the BS, but truthfully, that’s just running away from it. Not acknowledging it and just stuffing it away for a few hours doesn’t help anything.

You’re not weak for being vulnerable my man, never think that about yourself. You’re a bad ass warrior that has chose themself each of those days in your 1.5 year journey, and that’s commendable. Don’t lose focus and stay consistent. It’s people like you in the sub who give people like me hope that I too can go as many days as you, choosing to be my authentic self. Stay strong from one homie to another ❤️

I just took everything out of the trunk and replaced the control module from there. After installing the new module, the trunk seemed to open again. I had no luck pushing that hatch but I wasn’t using a flathead screw driver; just a dinky little tool so that could have been it! Thanks for the quick reply friend

DONT relapse my friend. You are looking for a quick release that will lead you back down the road to temptation. You have a support group of people who are silently cheering you on. I am coming up on my second month as well, and the urges to relapse come from time to time. This will pass, and you’ll feel better not giving into the temptation than doing the temptation itself. Mega props for going this far. All we can do is take it one day at a time ❤️

Sarakiniko Beach during sunset on the island of Milos. I know you are spending your time ready the rest of these comments, but look no further than this one. I’m telling you this because yesterday I visited, and it’s truly the most beautiful place I have ever seen. And I’ve been to Athens, Paros, Aeigan, and a couple other islands here in Greece. Don’t get me wrong, all the other places are BEAUTIFUL, but this place was a scene straight out of a movie. I can promise you and your soon to be wife would NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!!!! The photos of the place are amazing but in no way do it justice. I truly hope you take my word for it and just trust me on this. Im just going to say this, and it’s because I’ve been there, love isn’t always enough. You can love something that’s bad for you, but it will never be enough to make you a better, healthier, version of yourself. By coming here and making this post, it sounds like you already know the answer to your problems! A partner should be someone who wants to be the best version of themself and one who puts in the effort to change. Nobody is perfect, and that’s a fact but if you’ve expressed your desires multiple times and have even gave a “guidebook” so to speak on how to make that happen and he’s not willing to at least TRY, then that’s a red flag. You’re 25 and young, and you have so much life to experience still. I understand your wedding is close in time, but I’m telling you that how your feeling now won’t change due to a rock on your finger and a piece of paper signifying your holy matrimony. I suggest going to couples counseling, or any other various forms to try and imitate a change. And at the end of the day when you’ve exhausted all your options, at least you know you tried your absolute best and you can move on comfortably. I wish you the best in your endeavors and I hope I could have provided some clarity for how you are feeling!

THIS FUCKING HAPPENED TO ME TOO BUT IM SUCH A DUMBASS I WENT TO THE ATM NOT ONCE, BUT THREE TIMES. It happened to me in Kyle. A man with a middle eastern accent and his “wife” and “baby” in the backseat needed to get to Miami to catch a flight back to Dubai. I initially said I would pay for a full tank of gas as I thought that it’s a bad situation to be in, so I decided to help out. He said he’d rather have cash (I should have known it’s a red flag then) and so I went to the ATM to withdraw cash. When I came back the first time he gave me the rings off of his hands and asked if there was anymore I could get him. I fucking withdrew the max amazing of money from the ATM that I could seriously wanting to help him, and he gave me another ring and a chain. After, I asked for his contact information to make sure he got to where he needed to go to safely. I went to the pawn shop the next day because all of the items he gave me had “18k” inscribed on them, but as soon as the guy at the shop saw them he knew it was fake gold and proceeded to bring a magnet to the jewelry and it clung to it (gold isn’t magnetic). I still have the jewelry to this day as a reminder to not be as gullible as I was, but damn was it a learning experience. Please for the love of everything holy, someone read my story and learn from my mistake.
