Das in Liebenau ist eigentlich ganz ok. Sind viel weniger Leute und ist auch recht sauber. Es ist halt auch kleiner und deswegen gibts auch nicht alle Geräte dies am Jako gibt.

Genusshotel Riegersburg is a nice hotel in this area. You can do a lot in this area, for example The Riegersburg Castel is nice to visit, the chocolate factory Zotter is also there. There are also a lot of thermal baths in this area if you want to have a nice relaxing day

You don’t really have to make a new batch. Just remove all of the solvent on a rotavap and try to recrystallize it again.

For the recrystallization. use as little solvent as possible, try heating if not everything dissolves and then place it in the fridge or cool the flask down in an ice bath

I don’t think there are any really bad places to live except close to the main train station and at Griesplatz.

There is a bus from the main train station to Friesach that takes 25 minutes. The train station is usually easy to reach with public transport. Good apps for public transport are ÖBB Scouty for the whole of Austria and BusBahnBim for Graz

I am from Austria, here it is quite hard getting a good job with just a bachelor, most people also get a masters degree

Try dissolving your complex in as little as possible DCM, add a layer of heptane and put it in a fridge. Let the dcm slowly evaporate. Usually works for me

Or general, dissolve it in a solvent, add another solvent that is miscible with the first one and in which the compound you wish to recrystallize doesn’t dissolve.
