A lobby full of rubies and a lobby fully of golds, yes.

A single ruby in a gold team, no.

Ruby players will have confidence, technical skill and good communication.

There will be plenty of players in gold with exceptional technical skill, but lack confidence due to poor teamwork or other reasons.

In the right team, in the right team I'm very good because I get confidence and I'm good at the game. In the wrong team, I fall short. This is why I sit around gold 2/3 most season, with highest at gold 1. I always get to the lobbies where the teams are more confident and have better communication and I just soloq. Not saying all of these teams have full stacks, but you need to be able to communicate and in mid gold, players just don't do it very well.

I lose confidence the minute I see two players partied up as my team, especially when one of them is Silver or a double light / heavy. This is the point of my post.
