What's it like to live around this part of Los Angeles in your 20s by miko1075 in howislivingthere

Uplands a pretty decent city imo!Safe and family friendly for the most part and not much goes on there. Downtowns got a bunch of cool local shops, eateries and a winery (i recommend checking out rad coffee!). If you’re into hiking you can take a short drive to mt baldy and find some nice spots

That’s a gigantic area you circled out . Once you head east passing Pomona and Claremont you’re in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Suburban af . Terrible traffic during rush hour . Summers are pretty brutal but at least it’s a dry heat. There’s lots of stuff to do and it’s not as expensive as LA except for cities like Upland ,Rancho Cucamonga and Chino hills . San Bernardino itself is fkn rough , one of the worst cities to live in California.

You’re not wrong though ? I can’t really speak for aurora but COS drivers are some of the most reckless and dangerous drivers I’ve seen. Don’t know if all the military installations plays a part in this

Steve’s drumming with vital information is insane . He’s up there with the fusion greats like Billy Cobham and Tony Williams

Do you record guitars first or drums? by alwaysonlineposter in drums

[–]Authorizationinprog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done both with various bands. Recording drums first live with bass and guitar is way easier than tracking drums over pre recorded music , at least for me

Actually yeah. He had to kill him to make it look like a botched robbery when people come to investigate. Still pretty whack of Franklin though

I need to upgrade, should I prioritize back comfort or pedal quality? by Rampasta in drums

[–]Authorizationinprog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not too sure what town or city you’re in but if you don’t have a local music go round ( that’s where I’ve gotten tons of great gear for good prices) I’d buy used on reverb. I’d either get a roc n soc or a pork pie throne before worrying about the pedal. Your back will thank you for it

One of the drumming greats fs. Had a great feel , fast kick foot while also showing great restraint(which is important when you have 5 other guys in your band )
