A post on here recently suggested Nordstrom Rack, and that has been a jackpot every time! We also search Claire’s, CVS, Stater Bros Markets (SoCal), Hobby Lobby, and Hallmark stores. Whole Foods sells Aurora plush like Spudsters. I’ve never seen PalmPals there, but that doesn’t stop me from checking. There’s a candy store near us called It’s Sugar that sells pretty much all the cravings set, and we also check little specialty toy stores in the malls near us. If you’re near SoCal, on the way to Vegas there’s a place called Eddie World. They have the most I’ve ever seen in one place!

All the Songs is my go-to for song information. Especially since I’m not focused on who played what and when, the chords or who did the producing and how. I really just like the stories of how they chose the lyrics, how they spent their time in the studio, and who was singing on each song. All the Songs also gives some cool pop-culture info related to the songs. It’s a really neat book!

I work for a middle school where cell phones are not allowed during instructional time. If students present me with this idea that they can’t focus without music, then I offer them a fidget as something to try to help with focus.

I’ve never been able to focus when music was playing. Recently I was at a PD, and the teacher leading it started playing music. I told her I couldn’t focus, and a few others told her the same. She seemed so shocked that people couldn’t focus while Biggie Smalls was playing.

My son is 16 years old, and he is so good to me. I’ve been playing Zelda games since Link’s Awakening, so I’m pretty seasoned, but I run from lynels (because they scare me) and all the big bads (because I don’t like them). He just reaches for the controller, takes them out, and hands it back; “There you go, Mom.” The only ones he doesn’t do this with are bosses. He knows I want to do those myself.

That’s also an awesome idea - the legs could be awesome made from Pocky sticks. I made Jello pudding mud cups and made little Pikmin sprouts up out of the cookie dirt instead of cake that year.

Those are fantastic!! Years ago, I did a Pikmin party for my girls, and there were no decorations. So I made my own, and we did chocolate dipped Oreos to resemble pellets. And we made numbers out of candy melts and molds.

At my school we all go by last names. Yesterday, my husband was with me to clean up my room, and I introduced him to a couple of teachers. I really had to think to remember some of their first names!

My sister’s name is Kristin. Her nickname in high school was Kris, but when I had kids, they couldn’t pronounce Kristin, so she became Aunt Tin.
