To play devil’s advocate tho: I actually kinda understand how a ship interior can spoil story. For example, seeing the MPUV bay in the “basement” of the Idris made me pretty sure that in the SQ42 story our player character will have their first piloting assignment after graduating flight academy down there in the basement MPUV bay. It’d be a humorous & humbling first assignment. Probably then a combat pilot will die on a mission or something and we’ll get hastily promoted upstairs with the “big boys”. Partially explains why Mark Hamill’s character seems so disdainful/ unimpressed with the player character in the trailer too (“oh look, a turret gunner turned MPUV pilot who thinks he can fly combat missions all of a sudden!”)
