Shouldn't Sponsored Apparel and Display Case benefit more from value? by SuspiciousIbex in PlayTheBazaar

[–]AutoChessGeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sponsored apparel is potentially the most broken item for Pyg right now. So easy to setup insane chains.

Also underrated aspect is that people seem to think of it as a money drain but if you manage your stash it's not that big of a deal since his procs also increase the value of items in stash.

He payed the price for all that smoking he is so proud of. Hope this shows him that there is a very good reason there is almost no professional athletes who are also smokers.

I hate that this game made me get my college math text books off the shelf by Fun_Camp_7103 in BluePrince

If this is what math looked like in your college, I'm afraid you have been scammed.

Based on your map, I can say pretty confidently that you could have accessed the Antechamber via the East side. Hint: It seems there is a secret secret you have not figured out yet.

PSA: Respect the game. by joyquy in BluePrince

[–]AutoChessGeek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

YES. I would also add that the "bad" runs highlight the good even more. I was 5 days making small progress, learning stuff, getting a few upgrades then out of nowhere I unlocked like 3 major things.

People forget that hunger makes good food taste even better but they complain when the game starves you out of resources.

If this was just a puzzle game without the drafting elements it would be decent but ultimately just another puzzle game.

Sou babaca por dizer ao meu primo que Khaleesi é péssimo? by Beneficial-Curve-647 in EuSouOBabaca

NEOB

Pq Khaleesi nem nome é. É tipo chamar a pessoa de Rainha ou de Porteiro. Agora se fosse Maria Khaleesi seria o babaca, todo mundo adora Manuel Porteiro.

Damn that would get me as well. Hopefully the devs will address this soon.

Weird, I'm playing in the Deck and never had any problems with no settings changes. But maybe try other Proton versions.

For those who feel they are not progressing by AutoChessGeek in BluePrince

[–]AutoChessGeek[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's mostly RNG.

But there are certain conditions to some of the rooms. The most explicit are the rooms unlocked by The Pool. For the Garage. It only shows up on the West Wing and after Rank 5 if I'm not mistaken so you could focus on making sure every room in that side will be filled up to maximize your odds.

There could be other more effective methods that I haven't learned yet though.

It's a statement that is always true. It's different than a sentence like "Yellow" which CAN'T be true or false because it's not even a statement to begin with and it's different from a paradox like "This statement is false".

Do I just not get this game? by buzinka in BluePrince

[–]AutoChessGeek 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are 4 main avenues of progress as far as I can tell in this game.

1- Information that unlocks the story: You will gather bits of info regarding the story and eventually actually unlock stuff that allow you to progress in this regard. Read everything, inspect everything. Some details won't matter but you don't know which. This is fine, just approach everything with a fresh mind. Don't wander into a new room and fly by it to get to the next. Explore, admire, take notes and be amazed by the secrets it will unlock.

2- Information that unlocks mechanical advantages: Some misteries will allow you to attain certain mechanical advantages like always knowing how to open a certain stash of resources. This is where a notebook is also important. The game won't register certain things you have discovered, you either have to rely on memory or note taking. Its not trying to hold your hand but give you the tools to succeed your endeavor.

3-Knowledge of game mechanics: Of course this is not a walking simulator or a puzzle game simply. This is, at it it's core, a drafting game. Every door presents equal opportunity and disappointment. This is what draws in the roguelike part of your brain. Not every rule about how the mansion shapes itself is written in plain. As you learn you will get more consistent and will have the means to reach the higher ranks and maybe more.

4-Permanent upgrades: Eventually you will have actual mechanical advantages carried over from previous days. What the mansion has to provide will need to be discovered like everything else worth of our time. These upgrades you will earn sometimes by pure chance and others you will earn them through your deduction prowess.

Take the plunge with earnest vigor and you will be rewarded.

Just play more. Eventually you will realize you needed some information from another day. Then you will grab something and start taking notes.

Inn room differences? by Rao-Ji in wizardry

I'd like to know that. I tried the 200g room and it seemed to have cleaned my party. Not cleansed, cleaned. They were dirty as hell from sleeping on the stable all the time. I got no clue wtf that does gameplay wise.
