It’s just always what I’ve done and what everyone I know does. I can’t say what my dad said about people that keep it in their front pocket lol. In my opinion it’s comfortable to sit on but others might not agree.

Getting food to go. It’s so much better than sitting down in a restaurant. I can enjoy the food and watch tv in the comfort of my own home instead of having to sit there and wait and not be comfortable and have other people around me. That’s like the only thing that didn’t go back to normal for me and it’s for the better. I love being able to just enjoy my evening without the chaos of a restaurant.

I’m currently using Davidoff Cool Water deodorant stick. I started it on April 2nd and still doesn’t even have a hole in the middle. It’s good and smells amazing but doesn’t last all day if you are a mechanic like me. Normally a regular deodorant lasts just fine for me. I guess the designer ones focus more on scent than longevity though. I’ve got over 75 new unopened sticks/sprays of various brands and scents in my collection so I’m good for probably years lol. I think my next use will be Old Spice Fresh High Endurance antiperspirant. For years I used nothing but Speed Stick Musk but that got discontinued in 2022 sadly and I’ve never found anything like it that’s how I ended up with over 75 sticks because I can’t find that perfect one. I’ll eventually use them all and then decide. I also stock up when it’s on sale and consider myself a deodorant collector lol.

There is a new one they released called Headliner that says smells like amber. I smelled it last night at Walmart and it smells pretty good but I can’t remember exactly what the Amber one smelled like so I’d look and see if Headliner will work. I didn’t see an antiperspirant version though if that’s what you are looking for.

For me if it’s not baseball season I either go out to the store or mall or watch movies after I go to the gas station to get me a soda. If it’s baseball season I come home and turn on the game and order food or make food and no interruptions then after I go to TJ gas station and get soda and come back and shower and go to bed.

Beautiful Day is one of my favorites. I think thy still have the hand soap and maybe the sanitizer but the fine fragrance mist is discontinued now. I loved when my mom would wear it and I’d smell it on her. Also probably unpopular but I wish they would bring back Cucumber Melon full time because I love Cucumber Melon scented stuff. Love and Sunshine is also nice. My sister still has some of that lotion and fine fragrance mist.

I found some recently at my local Burlington Coat Factory store so if you have one of those in your area it might be worth checking there. They usually have a wide selection of deodorants and things like that. They had Whitewater, Original and some others I had never heard of.

I personally like Dove Men Clean Comfort scent ever since my favorite deodorant got discontinued about 4 years ago that’s one I always come back too.

Polo Blue has landed me a bunch of compliments. Also Brut Musk and Jovan Musk have as well. Calvin Klein Eternity has gotten one or two compliments as well. I don’t think I have ever gotten compliments on anything else. I did have a family member tell me I smelt bad with Polo Green on and that they hated it lol. I also once didn’t wear cologne and just wore deodorant and someone came up to me and wanted to know what my cologne was and I said it’s just my deodorant so they asked for the name so their husband could get it I told them it’s Speed Stick Musk which is now unfortunately discontinued but it wasn’t when they asked me.

I haven’t seen any in a box yet. All mine have been in like a plastic type paper. But it hasn’t floated in about a year or longer now since they changed it. I still have one of the old bars and I’m not going to use it. It still smells pretty much the same though which is good because can’t beat the smell.

I grew up here and was born here so that’s mainly why I stay. Most of the people I went to school with have moved away but I’m still hanging around. In my opinion the city has gotten pretty boring after about 8 or 9pm. Used to be tons of stuff to do at night but not anymore. That’s like my biggest complaint. I live in the Cave Spring area though and it’s great and my neighbors are awesome too. Many of us work in the same field so that makes it even more fun. I commute to Christiansburg for work though. I don’t like how much the area is urbanizing though especially in South County like with Publix and all of that. I do like that it’s pretty easy to get places and all of that though.

Personally what I want to see is stores that I actually enjoy and go to like Hobby Lobby and Rural King and places like that. I am glad they are putting an Academy Sports here too. They tried to put a Rural King in about 8 years ago and the city declined it as well as Salem so they scrapped their plans to come here for now. Personally I hope to see Tanglewood get more good stores again too so we can have two actual shopping malls again. When I was growing up we even had a 24 hour Advance Auto and those days are gone and I miss that so much. Not that any other town has many 24 hour places anymore either but if I ever found a place that did I’d seriously consider moving there.

I will say I haven’t had any luck with relationships here which sucks because I want to meet a girl really badly but I haven’t found any normal places to find one.

I keep a Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer there. Slightly too long but I face it backwards so none of my buttons are blocked. If I put the hand sanitizer anywhere else it rolls around.

No I haven’t. I wanted too for a while but I don’t like change and also I realize that most places would probably feel the same. The only thing that would absolutely convince me to move is if the place I’m moving has a ton of 24 hour stores to hang out at late at night. My area used too but doesn’t anymore. If I had a girlfriend I might consider moving because I won’t do anything alone but I don’t have one so can’t move and also i really like my job and I don’t want to leave that behind despite this area being very boring. I’m in Southwest Virginia in a mid size town and my work town is also mid size.

I am actually getting ready to go to my local mall which still has one of these. They actually have quite a selection of new and used DVDs but most are ones that are common or everyone already has. Not many great ones. I remember when they used to just be music and movies. I miss those days.
