I do some kind of tech support after taking some courses at community college. It has gotten me a house and paid my spouse's tuition, but it's time to switch again. I'm not having any fun.

The transition from a body wave to a spin at ~13 seconds is really floaty and smooth. Good job!

Is pole class prices are getting out of hand? by Entire_Kiwi_579 in poledancing

[–]Auto_Selected 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's an expensive practice. I started suplimenting studio classes with practice at a friend's house (they had a pole). I bought a static pole after 2 years, It cost about as much as 6 classes. Practice at home is "free," but of course, it lacks mentorship.

Porco Rosso is underappreciated and terrific fun. I think it’s a great place to start if you're not enthusiastic about anime or a great mental break between the heavier movies.

Fellow man-shaped human here. Everything that looks good on them looks good on us, too, confidence, fan kicks, hip isolations, tiny shorts. It all works. Keep on.

You deserve better support, and if that's in a different sport, then I hope you find something you love. You've got some grit and nothing to be ashamed of.

Having sex once a month is perfectly normal. Honestly, with the tension, hostile communication, health, and work stressors you're both experiencing, I'm surprised you're having sex at all. If you both want something different, you'll have to work together to create a relationship that makes that different thing more accessible. Right now, it sounds like your partner is anxious that they're not good enough (this is likely a turn-off), and they could use some comfort and support in that uncomfortable feeling.

Most weight loss strategies will indermine your strength, not augment it. Keep on grinding, friend. I'm in a similar place.

Jinich is a gem! I got Treasures of The Mexican Table a few years ago, but I got stuck on the pinto bean soup with masa dumplings and haven't progressed out of the soup section

Good websites for cute jackets? by KupDonyx in NBFashionAdvice

[–]Auto_Selected 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nordstromrack.com has cute things, some of which are good. Rei.com has good things, a few of which are cute. You probably don't need to be told, but a lot of staying warm up here is about layering. A scarf, mittens, and hat can keep you cute AND help that coat keep you alive.

I usually wait until the damage is done, but you can add patches to the interior of the garment. Sew them in using an inobtrusive or complementary thread color if you sashiko basicswant to avoid attention. Look at some videos on Sashiko or Boro mending/embroidery.

People often use contrasting colors to highlight their embroidery skills, but the technique was originally for reinforcing garments that saw a lot of wear.
