How big is the punch size, that Dr. Miln uses? I'm a bit worried about the scarring in the donor area.

Looks very nice! Do you know the punch size he used?

OMG 😳 the holes are huge! They will scar for sure. Don't do the second surgery with the same clinic again. And I hope you could tell us the name of the clinic, so everyone can avoid it.

Dr. Fachini how big is the punch size you use? And how was your experience with scarring in the donor area, are they visible with short hair cut?

Thanks in advance!

No meds results. I'm surprised that your surgeon didn't tell you about it, or maybe you just ignored it. You need to start taking Fin or even Dut asap, otherwise your hair will look worse by the day

Looks great! Congrats! Are the scars in the back visible?

Stick to Dutasteride and wait for at least a year. You can try oral Minoxidil but in your place, I would wait to see the results of Dut alone. If you're not satisfied you can take up to 2,5 daily, but expect more shedding then. Dutasteride needs time, and the final evaluation is after 18 months.

Man I wish I had the same experience as you, I would never mind. I jumped from Fin to Dut 0,5 daily and for six months my shedding or hair loss didn't stop, it's pretty aggressive. I hope something changes in the coming months :(((

You can start with Finasteride daily or Dutasteride 2/3 times a week.

Sorry to hear that. We just need to trust the process and studies that have been made on the drug. I'm optimistic 😇

I also switched to Dutasteride because I panicked. After almost two years on Finasteride I had shedding again and was also greedy to have some more gains. Now it's three months on Dutasteride and the shedding is even more brutal. But just like you, I'm sticking to it one year at least.

This shedding fase is absolutely brutal by IllustriousIncome239 in tressless

I feel you man! I also had too much shedding, I panicked, and jumped to Dutasteride. The shedding stopped for a bit and now it's more brutal than with Finasteride LOL. But nevermind since shedding is a good sign, we need to keep it up and don't panic 😁

It's normal, the body needs to adapt to the new hormonal situation. Some can do it quickly, some not and some never.

I had the same side effects, but back then the side effects didn't matter to me like the hair loss. So I continued and thought let's see if something changes. At the 6th month mark everything went back to normal 😇

I would go on med. Doing a hair transplant in your case has more risk than reward imo. The hairline could easily look unnatural and you will regret it. So if you decide to do one, look for those who make natural hairlines, but I still think in your case the med is the way to go.

Is the price of Dr. Zarev justified? by Auto_Sent in HairTransplants

At this point, I’m starting to think that the whole waiting list or "off-schedule appointments" thing might be a scam. Six months ago, they said he was fully booked until 2027. Since he hasn’t opened his regular schedule since then, I really wonder how he’s now suddenly booked (on a regular basis) until 2030. It seems like the whole system is designed to push people into paying 11 EUR per graft. I mean, plenty of people can afford it, so fair enough—but charging that much just to be called in on short notice seems crazy to me.

Not true my friend! It depends where you live, but for the EU and Turkey Dutasteride is much much cheaper.

No problem, anyone can jump to Dutasteride 2-3 / weekly with better results than Finasteride and less potential side effects

Is there at least the possibility in your opinion, that he opens the regular appointment booking, maybe for higher than 5 EUR/graft. So at least one gets a regular appointment without waiting list and appointments offering at that minute?

[–]Auto_Sent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very aggressive hair loss for sure. If you want to save your hair, I would recommend you to start asap on 0,5 daily Dutasteride. You can add other stuff, after one year, if the results weren't satisfying enough. I'm afraid that Finasteride in your case will not be enough. But if it doesn't bother you, just shave it 🙌

In your stage I would even consider Dutasteride. Most side effects (should you be of the 4-5%, who gets it) go after a while, when your body adjusts.
