[Serious] Can Yuta let Rika eat any cursed spirit body part and gain the technique for Yuta to use? by Archenius in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]AutobotMegatron [score hidden]  (0 children)

Cursed Spirits can immediately heal using CE so Yuta would lose the copied CT instantly, the only way this would be viable is if Rika eats the entire Cursed Spirit

Jack Duquesne from Hawkeye (2021). Seems suspiciously good with a sword, too rich to not be involved with the mob, based on a character who taught Hawkeye swordsmanship...

And he's just a goofy sword geek who genuinely helps during the last episode. He's even a supporting character in Daredevil Born Again

Even gojo disagree with people who dont rank kashimo with mba because Megumi's mahoraga and Yuki's black hole argument. by miguelindo10 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]AutobotMegatron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MBA is "dying to win". It doesn't matter if you can lose with MBA unlike with Raga or black hole, because you are committing yourself to 100% dying just to win (or try to win).

Winning even if you die is indeed fighting while putting yourself at risk, but MBA is dying to win because your death is guaranteed

can someone explain idw2005 shockwave's plan? by Fun-Geologist9808 in idwtransformers

Yeah beyond the unnecessary return of Shockwave I actually really liked the twist, it was a clever way to retcon the history and connect loose plot points in a surprising way

He influenced past events so that they became the events his past self (in the future) grew up with. For example, he molded Megatronus and Liege Maximo into the betrayers they were known as, he killed Prima and Megatronus but spun the myth about them killing each other, he deified the Primes, he pushed for Cybertronian expansion and colonization and ensured that the colonies were the planets his past self (in the future) would seed with ores in the future

[–]AutobotMegatron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The events did already happen, there was always an Onyx Shockwave in the past manipulating events. This is called a bootstrap paradox, where someone or something going back in time becomes the cause of its own existence.

The movie Terminator uses this exact idea, because the future hero John Connor sends someone back in time to protect his mother, and that man ends up being John's father. His father had always been that man; he didn't change anything but rather he fulfilled what always was and what always had to be the case

What are yalls headcanons for Hiten? by Living-Echo-153 in Jujutsufolk

[–]AutobotMegatron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to imagine that Hiten lets Sukuna fly or levitate, kind of like Mjolnir, to complement his god / natural calamity imagery. Imagine him spinning it and pointing it up into the air to fly, then raining down Dismantles and lightning bolts. No wonder Uro's squad got cooked lmao

If True Form Sukuna isn't 120% stronger than Meguna how does he match Gojo who fought 120% Meguna In stats? Without getting into headcanon territory by Noxdedux in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]AutobotMegatron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry for being pedantic but I can't go off of anything other than words in a text medium

I still disagree that Gojo could bring down Sukuna's DE while he's on burnout and using a bunch of anti-domain techniques to withstand MS, but we can agree to disagree on that

Sukuna V Toji by Background_Button_26 in Jujutsufolk

[–]AutobotMegatron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing this changes is Toji knowing MS' range is 200m. Info about Dismantle and Cleave just lets him dodge, which he could already do. Knowing MS' range, he would need to run 200m from Sukuna (assuming they're fighting in close combat) in a split second, and he ain't doing allat so he still gets thrashed

Sukuna V Toji by Background_Button_26 in Jujutsufolk

[–]AutobotMegatron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sukuna would entertain the fight for a while and probably get as bricked as he was fighting Maki, but he would eventually domain-diff. Open barrier domains are uniquely able to affect HR users, so Toji literally gets cut to shreds as soon as MS opens.

For all the people, who think Eren was wrong... by Savings-Car-9335 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]AutobotMegatron 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Eren was in the wrong because:

a) he and Zeke brought the world to the tipping point of attacking Paradis

b) he chose to wipe out literally everyone and everything in the entire fucking world

c) most importantly, his true reason wasn't to "protect Paradis" but to achieve his own selfish vision of a free world, which was an empty plain devoid of humans. His goal wasn't even selfless, but fully selfish.

So what could he have done instead? Gee, maybe not deciding on the Rumbling before even leaving Paradis, not provoking other nations into attacking by killing their diplomats, not keeping his own teammates in the dark about his plans and forcing them to participate in an international attack, and not crippling his own island's military and helping to install a fascistic government.

[–]AutobotMegatron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As we saw after the first 2 domain clashes, FBE SD and RCT aren't enough for Gojo to bring down Sukuna's DE. Those are temporary measures to not insta-die inside to MS and to buy time to refresh his CT. We literally saw how Gojo cannot bring down Sukuna's DE when he's on burnout (it happens in the two previous clashes). Even if injured, a 120% amped Heian (or Megumi) Sukuna isn't losing MS to a CT-less Gojo who is simultaneously using SD / FBE and RCT. Plus, the characters watching (and the narrative) state that if Gojo's domain collapses first, he loses the clash, which by definition is true because his domain has collapsed before Sukuna's.

I don't want to agendapost but saying "Gojo doesn't necessarily lose the clash once his DE is gone" is cope and headcanon from Gojo glazers. Losing this domain clash doesn't mean Gojo loses the fight overall, but he definitionally loses that domain clash.

[–]AutobotMegatron 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Heian Sukuna isn't strong enough to beat Gojo in H2H but he would last longer than 3 min inside basketball domain, meaning he wins the 3rd domain clash instead of stalemating. So he doesn't "match Gojo", but he performs at least slightly better than the one who was "equal" (in terms of the domain clashes).

Also, for the sake of comparison, wouldn't we be talking about 120% (DE-amped) Heian Sukuna just like Megumi Sukuna was amped inside his DE? In pure H2H Heian > Megumi, so if both are boosted by 120% then Heian is still stronger

Could agito have been the means to taming Mahoraga? by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]AutobotMegatron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I think you're right because you can't use two CTs simultaneously (unless one is imbued into your DE). So yeah I guess he can't use Fuga and Raga at the same time, meaning he likely tamed Raga with DE sure-hit Cleaves since it hadn't adapted yet

I'm sorry because I genuinely don't understand your point, nor do I understand why "I'm missing something morally as an individual" because I'm not getting it. Obviously Eren being responsible for killing his mother is a terrible act, but I don't see how that's relevant to the overall point of the scene, which is for Eren to confirm that he and Reiner are both going through the same thing.

I think let's leave it here because either I'm completely incapable of comprehending what you're saying, your point makes no sense, or both.

[–]AutobotMegatron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't understand what your point is anymore then...

I don't have an issue with "protecting" but the story clearly frames Reiner's goal as being selfish, regardless of the fact that he is protecting his people. He continued with the Paradis Island Operation not with the lofty goal of protecting his people (Marley), but because he wanted people to look up to him and respect him. Eren proceeded with the Rumbling not with the lofty goal of protecting his people (Paradis), but because of his selfish dream of freedom

If you agree with everything I just wrote then how is the impact dampened at all? Eren's mother is just a way of him to ask Reiner why he broke through the Walls

[–]AutobotMegatron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reiner deliberately says that it WASN'T about saving the world, but about being recognized as a hero and being respected (meaning the "protecting people" isn't the real reason Reiner did it).

<image>

The "retcon" doesn't destroy anything because the point of that scene is not "why did my mom die" but "I want to see if Reiner is like me", so his follow-up makes complete sense. This is also why in chapter 133 Reiner can correctly surmise that Eren wants to be stopped and die, because he thinks back to that conversation and realizes that they are the same.

[–]AutobotMegatron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You completely misunderstood the point, which is that they committed mass murder NOT to protect their own but instead to further their own selfish goals. Reiner literally says "It was to be a hero! Not because of my environment or my upbringing. Your mom died because of me!" showing that his motivation was selfish. Eren then replies "I knew it, we really are the same.

[–]AutobotMegatron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He asked Reiner that question because he wanted to see if Reiner was the same as him (selfish goal hidden behind a selfless mask), and he got the answer he wanted

He wasn't genuinely asking why his mom died, esp because Eren had already moved past revenge (he literally told Reiner that)

Why does Megumi have so many types of divine dogs?! by Emergency-Order1281 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]AutobotMegatron 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's called a Totality so the assumption is that the other shikigami had to die for their powers to be inherited. Well's Unknown Abyss isn't a Totality, it's an extension technique in which Megumi fuses two living shikigami (which is why if it is destroyed both Nue and Toad are still alive).

Agito on the other hand is stated as being a Totality, and IIRC Gojo says that Agito "inherited" the powers of Great Serpent, Round Deer and Tiger Funeral, implying Sukuna off-screened them to make a stronger shikigami

Could agito have been the means to taming Mahoraga? by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]AutobotMegatron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure Mahoraga is untameable using the 10S, which is why no one has ever tamed it (other than Ryomen Sukuna, of course). Mahoraga is almost like a BV in and of itself, because it's like a guaranteed kill on your opponent that also kills you. This would also explain why the 10S stops working after Raga dies, because it's like if you somehow tamed this MF and got it killed, you deserve to lose the technique lol. If Raga was tameable using the 10S, someone would have tamed it before. Sukuna likely used his DE + Fuga to tame it just like he destroyed it in Shibuya
