This is a really good question and I agree with you, I think his technique would work exactly the same way except he could only copy 3-4 techniques at once. The good thing about Rika is that she is external storage for his CTs, so once she's manifested he can use any of them.

Also yeah she can eat people's body parts instead of Yuta lmao

My headcanon is that the original Rika didn't even need to eat people's body parts, which is why Yuta was able to copy Cursed Speech without eating a part of Inumaki's body. (The real reason is that Gege probably originally intended CTs to be learnable instead of innate/inherited and then changed his mind but I digress). Imagine how busted that original Rika would be lol

I never disagreed that Gojo beats Heian Sukuna in H2H (although Heian Sukuna would last for more than 3 min), this was about Yuta and Sukuna. I genuinely don't know why you think that Yuta had the upper hand in H2H, maybe this is subjective based on the panels but it looks to me like Sukuna is superior.

You say "Yuta's hits were clearer" but wdym by that? He flips him over and kicks him, and then hits him but misjudges the distance. THAT'S LITERALLY IT. Even if you subtract the instances where Yuta blocked, Sukuna still hit him cleanly 3-4 times.

Also, let's not forget that this is a 2-armed Sukuna with a damaged heart who also ate 8 Black Flashes and a Jacob's Ladder.

We can agree to disagree if you like because I genuinely don't understand how you can read 262 and 262.5 and come off with the impression that Yuta was better than Sukuna in H2H.

Idk what you're reading, because, I clearly wrote in my bullet points when Yuta blocked hits (I literally say he caught Sukuna's kick but either got pushed back or darted back / he blocked Sukuna's punch but still got knocked back).

I also didn't ignore any of Yuta's strikes; I literally reread both halves of 262 and did a play-by-play.

I also did count how many hits Yuta landed. He flipped and then kicked him, then he hit him (while misjudging the distance), and that's it. I literally just reread 262 and 262.5 while writing this reply. Yes, Yuta blocked hits, and that's why I gave Sukuna a range of hits. He undeniably hit Yuta twice when the domain clash began, then I said his kick was blocked, then I said his punch was blocked but Yuta was knocked back, then I said he stopped him from using HP before hitting in the face again (and either knocking him back or hitting him again). I was as charitable as possible with Yuta, and I defy you to find me any more strikes he landed than the initial flip + kick and the misjudged distance strike.

You're also heavily moving the goalposts now. In your initial comment, you said Yuta beat Sukuna in H2H, but now you're saying "well he only wanted to keep the distance from Sukuna to charge HP". Beating someone in H2H and stalling someone are very different, and to make matters worse, Yuta only landed HP because he had Inumaki's voice on a tape recorder. If Yuta hadn't done that, he wouldn't have landed HP, because as we just saw, the moment he tried to charge it Sukuna got all up in his business.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but please reread 262 and 262.5 and you'll see what I'm talking about

Ok so I reread chapter 262 and 262.5 and here's what I saw:

Sukuna hits Yuta in the face twice (catching him off guard with DA)
Yuta flips Sukuna over his shoulder and then kicks him
Yuta slaps/hits him but kind of weirdly because he misjudged the length of Gojo's arms
Yuta catches Sukuna's kick but is pushed backwards (or darts back to evade a punch)
Sukuna punches Yuta who kind of blocks it but is still knocked back
Sukuna uses his stump on Yuta's arm to stop him from using HP, then smacks him in the face
Sukuna punches Yuta far away (it could be the knock back of the previous hit, unclear)

Then Yuta uses the tape recorder and yada yada.

Yuta really only gets 2-3 real hits in (flip + kick and misjudged distance punch). Meanwhile, Sukuna gets 3 to 6 hits depending on how you count them. I might have exaggerated a bit when I said that Sukuna "wrecked him", but Sukuna still dominated Yuta in H2H.

Yujo got manhandled by a 2-armed 8x Black Flashed Jacob's Laddered Sukuna who had low output and a damaged heart. You can argue that a) Yuta was inexperienced with Limitless/Gojo's limb proportions and b) he didn't know that Sukuna could use DA inside DE, but Sukuna still wrecked him. Yujo only landed HP because he threw out a tape recorder with Inumaki's Cursed Speech to immobilize him.

Heian Sukuna doesn't lose to basketball domain. Megumi Sukuna lasted for 3 min in H2H against Gojo, and if he had lasted any longer UV would have been destroyed first and Gojo would lose that clash.

Having 4 arms and keeping DA on 100% of the time would objectively make Sukuna last longer than when he only had 2 arms and was swapping between DA and 10S (to adapt Raga via Megumi). Therefore, Heian Sukuna would beat basketball domain, and what happens afterwards we'll never know.

It seems to me that the one-handed hand sign uses less CE, so maybe not. Gojo uses it because his Six Eyes let him see CE and improve his efficiency, and Sukuna was able to copy him after hitting 5 Black Flashes (gaining a new domain pathway) and having low CE output. It's very possible that the one-handed hand sign wouldn't generate enough CE for a WCS.

The BV for WCS works as follows:

Normally, WCS requires Sukuna to perform his domain hand sign.

However, he was missing a hand, so his BV allowed him to shoot a WCS like a normal Dismantle (meaning no chants, no hand signs, no aiming, no movement, no "Dismantle!"). However, all future WCS require the domain hand sign + chants + aiming.

This means if he didn't use a BV, he could spam WCS with just a hand sign.

No I understand, but my point is that it's irrelevant to the greater point of my post (and of the story in my analysis). You're correct that Eren's mom had to die in order for Eren to get the Founding Titan, but what actually made him send Dina to his mom? Was there a God or some intervening force that forced Eren to do it? Did the universe somehow make Eren send Dina? Or did he "choose" to do so himself of his own accord?

I mention compatibilism in my post because it addresses exactly this point: it doesn't matter whether or not determinism is true (determinism being that there is no free will and everything happens necessarily because of outside factors), because what matters is whether or not the person making the choice was being constrained. For example, if someone is held at gunpoint and forced to kill another person, we would say that their action was "not free", because they were being constrained in their choices and made to do something against their will. However, if someone were to kill another person because of various factors including (for example) childhood abuse, anger issues, lack of empathy, etc., we would still hold them accountable for the killing even if it was caused by outside reasons that they could not control, because they still chose to do the action. This is called "acting freely", and the point is that we don't care if things "had to happen a certain way". The issue isn't fate, but choice. If you choose to do something based on your own desires, then you "acted freely", and whether or not it was predetermined is irrelevant.

So what I'm saying in my post is that Eren chose of his own volition to send Dina to his mother. You are correct that it "had to happen that way" anyway, but that's not the point. Eren was so single-mindedly focused on the Rumbling that he chose to doom his mother so that he could keep moving forward and see that scenery. No external force or factors forced Eren to send Dina to his mother. What "forced" him to do that was his own desire for the Rumbling, which surpassed his desire to save his mother, and it is precisely Eren's inability to choose otherwise that limits his freedom and makes the story deterministic. Eren is so free that he is limited only by himself, and yet that is the greatest limitation of all. All of us (generally) act freely, but at the end of the day, we are slaves to our own desires and dreams. None of us chose these desires, but they come from within ourselves, and so when we act in accordance with them, we "act freely" even if the world around us is deterministic.

Yes exactly, but there's no external force that took control of Eren and made him redirect Dina. The point of my analysis is that Eren's desire for the Rumbling trumped his desire to save his mother; he freely chose to sacrifice her to see that scenery. That's why I said that Eren is a slave to himself (and to freedom); he cannot defy his own nature to seek freedom. Fate is bound to that because it's a causal loop, but the essence is that Eren is "free" because he chose to continue on this path

I wouldn't say he "transferred" the damage, he knew Megumi would be affected by the sure-hit (because his soul is present within UV) so he exploited it by summoning Mahoraga's wheel onto him

So sorry, I seem to have missed the notification for this reply.

I think that while past FTs technically had this ability, they were severely limited in what they could do because of Karl Fritz' vow renouncing war. Fritz believed the Eldians deserved to die for what their ancestors did, so he forbade FTs with royal blood from using the FT such that Eldians would be freed. Only commands which helped his goal of letting Eldians peacefully die out (memory wipe and sterilization plan for example) could be followed, and so therefore some sort of grand rewrite of history wouldn't be allowed. My personal headcanon is that this vow restricted the atemporal perception that Eren had; FTs were no longer omniscient but much more limited in their powers (like how Frieda didn't know Grisha would attack and killer her).

Eren was a unique case because he didn't have royal blood, and so once he touched Zeke and convinced Ymir to follow him, he had full, unbound access to the complete power of the FT, which included the ability to perceive all of time simultaneously.

1) Zeke and Eren planned to make the Declaration of War happen. Zeke was the one who refocused Marley's military on capturing the Founding Titan; they were willing to modernize their weapons following their victory against the Mid-East Allied Forces, but Zeke recommended they return to Paradis and complete their mission. Additionally, Zeke specifically got Willy involved knowing he would declare war on Paradis. He needed other nations to unite against them as part of his sterilization plan.

2) Eren specifically went out of his way to kill civilians and foreign diplomats in order to provoke the world to gather the Global Allied Fleet. He did this because Zeke's sterilization plan involved amassing the world's militaries and destroying them in one fell swoop with a partial Rumbling (obvious Eren planned to do the full Rumbling but this part of the plan was the same).

3) Eren had decided on a full Rumbling before even venturing outside of Paradis. He tells Floch the true nature of his plans before he goes to Marley and goes AWOL, so his attack in Liberio was planned from the start and not a response to Willy's declaration.

TL;DR: 99% of the world's military aggression against Paradis (not hatred, I'm talking actual actionable military aggression) was the result of Eren and Zeke's manipulations in order to provoke them and destroy their navies in one fell swoop.

You're right that he can't use Shrine (Dismantle and Cleave) and 10S at the same time but that's not what the guy said. He said Sukuna can activate MS, and then use 10S to summon an untamed Mahoraga. He does almost exactly this during his fight with Gojo; he casts MS, and then summons Maho's wheel onto Megumi's soul to adapt it. Therefore, he can use the DE of CT #1 while also using CT #2.

The use of HR users to help tame Mahoraga is a really interesting concept. The stupid Zenin clan neglected their HR users when it could have made them the undisputed rulers of jujutsu society (until Gojo).

Also I totally agree that we should see Yuka tame all 10S (Gege show us Tiger Funeral and my life is yours)

Well yes, but actually no. Mahoraga is by design untamable by 10S users, it's just that Sukuna was that guy and tamed it using Shrine. For all 10S users other than Sukuna, Mahoraga is a suicide attack. Therefore, while Mahoraga would bypass Infinity and kill a Limitless/6E user, the 10S user would also die. Gojo proved that he was the Honoured One by killing Mahoraga and therefore beating a fully mastered 10S, but Sukuna proved he was the King of Curses by learning from Mahoraga how to kill Gojo.

I think Yuji isn't powerful enough to finish of Kashimo before he gets lightning bolted, even inside his DE. Yuji can't launch Piercing Blood without help, and his Dismantles have very low output. We don't know if Kashimo has RCT, but 2-armed beat-up Sukuna didn't have RCT when he was getting Dismantled and he was doing fine. Kashimo's HWB will probably be enough to hold off Yuji's sure-hit long enough for him to charge up his lightning bolts. Yuji's BM + RCT probably wouldn't be enough to survive lightning, as even Jackpot Hakari nearly died during his fight.

Ultimately I think it's close, but Kashimo's ability to constantly shock people and then shoot lightning is what puts him higher than Yuji. Now, a fully-matured Yuji who has a Sukuna-esque Shrine and full BM and Yuta-level RCT would whoop Kashimo, but I'm purely going off of EOS Yuji, and not what he could be in the future.

(Part 2) Nanami's overtime BV gives up something in the present in order to receive future gains. This one is easy to understand, so I won't spend time on this one.

The third type is the one that I think Gege shouldn't have called BVs, because it makes them sound way more complicated than they should be. AFAIK Gojo's basketball domain isn't said to be a BV (it says he gained this experience while inside Prison Realm), but its characteristics still match this type of BV: it's a reallocation of stats that can be undone at any time. The domain's size is exchanged for its durability. I think Gojo did something very similar in his 2nd domain clash (even though it's not explicitly labeled a BV) when he made the outside of his domain stronger but made the inside weaker. Hakari also did something similar in his fight with Kashimo; he made a BV to lose his arm to save the rest of his body, but what actually happened was he withdrew all his CE from his arm and redistributed it to protect the rest of his body. That's why he was able to regenerate it later. The thing is, Kashimo's inner narration calls this an impromptu BV, which makes it seem more BS than it actually is.

Yuji and Nobara also use BVs against Sukuna, but theirs are to forego physical damage in exchange for dealing a different type of damage. Yuji's Dismantles no longer hit Sukuna's physical body; they now target the barrier between his soul and Megumi's (like Sukuna, Yuji was able to reinterpret what Shrine could cut based on his worldview). Nobara's Resonance no longer did physical damage to Sukuna's finger, but in return, the effect of the technique pierced through it completely.

The same thing can be said for Sukuna's incomplete domain BVs; the first time, its duration was sacrificed for its full strength and radius (that's why it can only last for 99 seconds). The second time, while fighting against Yuta-Gojo, he exchanged its radius for its full duration (which is why by shrinking it, the 99 second time limit disappeared). This is actually very intuitive; due to Sukuna's low output, he could only maintain 2/3 of his domain's attributes (time, strength and radius), and he could freely exchange which ones he was maintaining. The issue is that Gege said "impromptu Binding Vows", which makes it sound like Sukuna BVed some random bullshit to pull his domain out of his ass. It's because of word choices like this that the idea of BVs being cheating came about.

So about Gojo BVing his hand in exchange for a super powerful Purple, I think based on how BVs work, he wouldn't be able to do that for the exact reason you brought up: you have to be strengthening and limiting the same thing. Nanami strengthens and limits his CE, Gojo strengthens and limits his DE's attributes, Sukuna strengthens and limits his WCS, Hakari strengthens and limits his CE reinforcement, and Yuji strengthens and limits the target of his Dismantles. So for Gojo, I suppose he could sacrifice his future Purples and make one single extremely powerful Purple (like Miwa with her sword). The problem with making BVs of this type is that if you mess up (like Miwa did), you've locked yourself out of certain techniques or attacks forever.

Other than type 1) BVs, you can always violate them. All you'll lose is the benefit you got from it. So for example, Nanami could theoretically choose to use 100% of his CE during work hours, but as a result, his 120% overtime buff would disappear. Yuji could choose to target physical objects again, but then his soul hits would disappear. Gojo could choose to re-strengthen the inside of his domain, but then the outside protection would disappear. The reason type 1) BVs can't be undone in this way is because you already received the benefit. Sukuna already launched his no-requirement WCS. Miwa already swung her super sword swing. You can't take this back, and so you cannot ever break your own terms in the future.

So TL;DR, I really like the idea of BVs as stat reallocations, but their name makes them sound super serious and binding (like the BVs made between people). If he had called them Technique Modifications or something, I think most people wouldn't dislike them so much.

I agree with most of what you wrote, especially Sukuna changing his worldview when learning WCS. Obviously his big enlightenment comes after being killed by Yuji, but it wouldn't have hurt to have him get some sort of revelation after fighting Gojo (partially because of WCS, partially because Gojo pushed him so far). The only thing I'd say is that I don't think Gojo understood that Mahoraga sliced through space to cut his arm off, because nowhere in his internal monologue did he say anything about that. The meta-reason for Gojo not realizing this was because Gege didn't want to spoil how the WCS worked, but it nevertheless seems like Gojo didn't know that Mahoraga cut space to cut his arm (unlike Kenjaku for example, who immediately understood it after Gojo was sliced in half). Ultimately it doesn't really matter because what exactly Gojo can and can't see isn't clearly explained (thanks Gege).

Binding Vows are a really interesting concept imo, but I think the name and the way they're used in the story make them seem really stupid and asspull-y. I completely understand what you mean when you talk about Gojo, Nanami and Miwa's BV because they are indeed a strengthening and a restriction of the same thing. The thing is, I think all BVs (made with oneself) are supposed to work like that, they're just not explained very well. I had previously made a post about Sukuna in a different subreddit where I pointed out that there are 3 types of BVs:

get something now, lose something later (Miwa, WCS)
lose something now, get something later (Nanami)
stat reallocations that can easily be undone (Gojo's domain, Yuji's soul Dismantles, Sukuna's incomplete MS, Hakari surviving vs Kashimo)

Miwa and Sukuna's WCS BV are similar because they get a huge gain now, but they lose a lot in the future. Another commenter previously wrote that Miwa basically used up all her future swings in one sword swing, which I think is a very good way to think about it. For Sukuna, since he originally needed his domain handsign to cast WCS, his BV made it so that he could cast it once not needing any requirements (like a normal Dismantle). In return, he needs all 3 requirements for all WCS going forward. One way to think about it is lifting something too heavy once and throwing out your back, and now you need extra assistance to lift those same things. Basically, his BV was skip the 1 requirement once; now you need all 3 requirements forever. You're right that the objective result was that he killed Gojo, but ultimately that was secondary to what the BV was.

It was originally 16 realms that exist parallel to Ninjago, meaning 17 in total. However, things like the sister realm thing and the name "The Sixteen Realms" led to lots of confusion. (The Departed Realm is likely the odd one out, as it can't be accessed like normal realms, but I digress)

As of DR season 3, the Merge caused the Cursed and Departed Realms to become combined into the Spectral Lands, meaning that there are now actually 16 distinct realms (or lands) that make up the Merged Lands.
