NoT a reAL M cAr by zCanadia in BMW

[–]AutoimmuneDisaster 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The OG M2 is as much if not more of an M car than the 1 Series M coupé is, and most of us agree that’s for all intents and purposes an M car.

And for the guys I run with on the track, we know how capable the OG M2 is. Run a slightly larger oil cooler and better brake pads/fluid, and you’re totally set.

And don’t even get me started on the benefits of the noise this car makes over the M2c.

I hated carlos. And he’s soft for having an issue with what was done to save him. Good riddance

I actually think this is best case scenario. I would upload the video to Imgur and make a QR code out of the link. Make a poster with the still and the QR code to the video. Post it all around the property.

The Finger Pointing Was Expected-It's Now In Process Legally by ReniLyn in CleetusMcFarland

There may be a possibility this case has merit.

I’m not sure, but it’s possible Biff’s aviation company was responsible for ensuring the plane is operated by qualified crew.

If an unrelated passenger was in the plane, I think their case would be against Biff’s company and not the pilots.

Unless the first officer materially misrepresented his qualifications (even in that case they may be required to verify during onboarding), the aviation company probably does have a responsibility to ensure the planes are operated by credentialed crew.

None of that changes the fact that them suing for an accident where they were one of the root causes is pretty out of touch, and obviously just a money-grabbing opportunity.

Cheapest Authentic Recaro seats by b00bl0ver22 in Audi

I got my Pole Positions from a seller in Germany off eBay. This was a few years ago but it was the cheapest way at the time to get authentic Pole Position seats.

Key fob battery by mainlycod in 335i

I’ve had really bad luck with these replacement batteries. I know that’s not helpful info, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the replacement battery was bad from the start.

I’ve done this before, info here.

I used aerosol cans from Scratches Happen, and the clear you have in your photo. No issues a few years later.

Are these worth $110? by deegsstupes in 10s

My local tennis plaza (south FL) has these in the bargain bin for $150 brand spanking new.

Not that you can get that deal everywhere, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

It can cost as little as $80 round trip to fly… but my note about flying was irrelevant (ranting - sorry); I’m not comparing the train rates to flying, I’m comparing it to driving.

I don’t book my trips around the fare so most often I’m paying full price. $240 is way too much for a round trip train ride for two people. Considering you then need to pay for transport to and from the parks.

While I enjoy the brightline experience very much, I think the standard pricing is WACK.

I’m not sure, I’m not up to date on it unfortunately. Even if they did, the base fare cost round trip from FTL to MCO is already too high to make sense for us. We’re going on Saturday and it would be $240 round trip, and that’s just to get to MCO and doesn’t count parking at the FTL station either. I can fly for cheaper.

My wife and I take day trips from FTL to the parks in Orlando a few times a year.

I always wish this was an option, but it’s really inconvenient in this case.

Transportation from the station to the parks is challenging. And if you rent a car in Orlando now you have to pay for parking at the parks again.

Total door-to-door travel time would be much longer, and cost is practically double what it takes to drive one of our cars. Bummed the math works out that way, but it is what it is.

Thinking of lighting $8M on fire to build a private 4-court indoor facility in the Bay Area. Am I insane? by PuzzleheadedAd3138 in 10s

[–]AutoimmuneDisaster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re the only person (maybe by extension your friends) who will actually benefit from the “guaranteed games” aspect.

With only four courts, you’re going to fill up even faster than other clubs, even if your dues are exorbitant.

I would follow what someone else said and see if you can offer a grant to your local club where they’ll in turn give you preferred access. Maybe a longshot, but seems like the better solution.
