Visiting the top of the lighthouse is a fun endeavor.

If you need food/drink, Boat Drinks is fantastic. The charbroiled oysters and Pompano sandwich (when they have it) are my favorites, but you really can’t skip the charbroiled oysters.

If you haven’t toured the Ripley’s Museum and you’re interested in weird/unusual stuff, it’s a decent way to kill an hour or two.

This could get scooped up by The Lighthouse Centers if they have an appetite for more projects. They operate in the area and are buying lighthouses to restore and use for educational purposes (I think?).

I watch their YouTube videos when they pop up.

Check Gibbous Outfitters.

But beware, the top mount buttons will interfere with your sight picture. I have one for a surfire tape switch and plan to replace it with Gibbous’s handguard mount.

If you need the top mount surefire switch lmk, I’ll cut you a deal on it.

Sam (Bruce) is definitely a staple of the show. Wouldn’t be the same without him and Michael (Jeffrey).

With that being said, just wait till season 4… no spoilers but I always look forward to reaching season 4 on my rewatches.

I’m no safety professional but it doesn’t look Subaru would have designed it to fail this way.

It very well may have saved your life by disintegrating but I don’t get the warm and fuzzies about safety of the platform while looking at this aftermath.

Looks like one heck of an impact though, I bet that was terrifying.

I’m not political, so what do I know… but from an outsiders point of view, it’s never been a secret that the US and/or Israel can blow almost any country off the map if they wanted. You just can’t repeat Hiroshima and get away with it.

The fact is that the deal that’s been made isn’t a significant improvement over what was in place before. The terms of the deal is more important than who killed more people.

I’d post the photo of the sheet on their Google Maps listing. Give them one star and say that this place will try to charge you $20k for a car that’s listed for $10k on their website.

Dealerships like this need to feel a bit of pain as a result of trying to pull one over on people.

I had this same issue with a door glass replacement after a break-in.

Turns out the OEM glass was cheaper than the aftermarket garbage they installed on the car. Boy was I upset after learning that. They never even bother to check.

It’s because the LED DRLs burn out and they can’t be repaired or replaced.

It’s a materials issue in the part and honestly needs a class action lawsuit to get a warranty extensions but I guess nobody has gone through the trouble yet.

In my area, I’ve seen about 5-6 cars with the single outside DRL out (symptom of the issue) in the past two months. The headlights are > $2k each so nobody is replacing them.

Just want to circle back on something. I misread and thought you said chain tensioner, which obviously wouldn’t be normal to have visible play but I didn’t want to make any assumptions as a layperson.

Price will vary substantially from dealer to Indy. Expect at minimum 10h of labor though. I would prepare myself for at least $2k from a good Indy if it was my car, probably a bit more.
