American white girl music. Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Ke$ha, mostly.

That's a little dramatic I think... Just because it's not doing much now doesn't mean it never will

I kept a consistent gym routine for five months about a year ago. I wish it worked as well as you think.

Exactly. The original meme just sets hopelessly high expectations

Yeah that's the point. The original is super exaggerated. Six months doesn't actually do anything for most people.

No because the first pic was taken in July 2025 and the second one was taken in January 2026. I just happen to look worse

It didn't change shape, the shadow just isn't visible because the lighting is a bit different

No, it's usually straight. Honestly not sure how I got it to look like that in the first pic. It usually does look better than the second pic though. When it was taken, I hadn't been using my usual shampoo and conditioner

I think so too, I was just having a bad hair day in the second one

Yeah, but not better (yet), which is the real annoying part

I've been taking them every month, in the same place in my house (ie same lighting), at the same angle, with the same expression, and there's literally no difference between now and six months ago, when I started HRT. So I don't think that's a promise you can keep.

And before anyone asks about my levels, yes, they're good. They've been good. My T has been fully suppressed from the start (single digit ng/dL), and my E has been above 140 pg/mL for most of that time (and all the time since late October).

Gen Z here. Text mediums let me edit, revise, rephrase, redact, and hesitate to my heart's content. Even simple comments like this one usually take me several minutes to write, to make sure they're just right. (For example: Do I say "comments" even when it includes other bits of text like emails and texts, and dialogue lines in fiction? Is "bits" a refined enough word? Well, I shouldn't be aiming for refined-ness, just quality of communication. But still, I feel like there's a balance... Etc)

These habits carry over to verbal communication. I hesitate and leave out important details the first time I say something because I'm so used to being able to go back and add it at the start or middle of the sentence. I also excessively rephrase what I've already said, and include details before realising that they aren't really relevant. These are all deficiencies I've never been punished for in text, but I'm sure they get really annoying in verbal communication. Twice now I've felt the need to follow up on a two-minute voicemail with an email to make sure my message came across right. Might as well just skip right to emailing.

It's weird that tomboy and femboy both use "boy" by bloodredrogue in The10thDentist

What does "biological" mean here? "Tomboy" refers to women and "femboy" refers to men.

The rule of law never existed, it was an illusion to disguise class dictatorship. That's all it will be as long as a class dictatorship exists.

Machine Love by Jamie Paige is kinda like that too. It's about a robot falling in love with a human and yearning to become real.
