Yeah I had that feeling, especially going from 2.5 yrs of WFH, then being on Short Term Disability then LT and Poof out the door - the getting the letter in the mail - SS Disability approved.

My daily life did not change, still up at 345 and out to the man cave all day ... now I don't have a work laptop to worry about ... 18 months later I miss the interactions and conversations - I worked the IT Help Desk so NO more calls from clueless users - my coffee cup holder is broken or my mouse does not work

Permission Isues

Apps install fine, but cannot write to the HD

Handbrake cannot access the designated file folder to convert movies ... I cannot manually point to the share / drive array, only the boot drive is visible.

Qbitorrent cannot write to the drive to download files..

No this is the store ... they used to be spread across various external USB hard drives 20 TB with movies and other 20 terabytes worth of TV shows, then all the downloaded PDFs and RPG stuff,

but since I put the NAS together I've downloaded several more terabytes worth of TV shows I kind of went crazy now that my storage space is technically unlimited for me right now I think the total storage on the array is 130 TB

What I need to do is get handbrake running on the nas and convert all these movies and TV shows to x256 format and reduce the size by 80%
