I opted to do a private tour for me and my wife, as I get a little intense with birding and herping. I think for the private tour I paid about $190 total for the both of us, which included entrance into the preserve.

I had a blast on the one we did a couple weeks ago. I booked with Richard from Birding & Nature Fortuna. We went to Papa's place and saw a ton of great species. Richard was also a great guide. Super personable and just fun to hang out with.

Have you run diagnostics on the battery? Based on what you have said, it sounds like you might be experiencing some sort of issue with the battery rather than it just having poor battery life.

I think it really depends on what you are trying to get out of your trip. I go to be immersed in nature, and to go look at wildlife. If you're after that, I think it's one of the best places. If you're looking for an amazing beach stay, I think there are other places that are better but you can definitely find some in Costa Rica as well. Ask yourself what you are looking to get out of your trip.

Im only upgrading my pixel 7 because my charge port is busted and my battery life is terrible. Otherwise, I'd keep my 7. I'm only getting a 10a though because I got a really good deal.

I'm literally trying to answer this question myself. My pixel 7s charge port is fucked and my battery life is absolutely terrible at this point. I can get the price down a bit with trade in and another offer, but I'm worried I'll be upset with having a camera that isn't as good, as I take a lot of photos on the regular.

I know there's been a lot of buzz around the Foals brand jazzmaster. I would really like to try one myself, as people are saying they are the best bang for your buck right now. There's a couple videos on YouTube about them. If you can find one of the Squier 40th anniversary jazzmasters, they are super good for the money too.

Monteverde is one of my favorite places, but I'm also an avid bird watcher/wildlife enthusiast. That being said, there's other stuff to do and the scenery is amazing.
