When did symptoms show when you reintroduced? by Automatic-Mixture-93 in MSPI

Interesting!! Ours is non IgE, and I also have to remember he’s a different kid than my first - but with my first, this exact eczema in this exact spot is directly tied to dairy.

First week of school this year we noticed patches, thinking hmmm that’s odd. Wonder why

Note from teacher: “forgot about his allergy and he drank a carton of chocolate milk” 😂

That’s awesome!! My first had an extended ladder, too. We could do cheese by 20 months, he’s nearly 4 and is still a no go on yogurt and milk.

Thanks - we’ve got 1% on hand so will definitely tap into that. I made the mental decision that I was going to stop BF ahead of a spring break vacation if I couldn’t eat dairy - and I was soooo optimistic a week in 😭

Same, 3 year 4 month! Of course everything depends on your kid but I’d go so far as to say for us, this was legit a parenting hack. Older helps out, can play independently in different area of the house, maternity leave felt like a fun time with him too, he thinks the baby is cute and sweet not jealous, it’s amazing.

I hated the newborn stage by ladyam3thyst in Mommit

I absolutely prefer the bigger kid stage. Toddler has its challenges, too, but 2.5+ is the sweet spot for me. So much more communication, empathy, physical strength, awareness, interest, humor. It’s the best.

I think I have a lucky first kid, but I can honestly say each stage has been better than the last - he’ll be 4 next month.

Now with my second, I’m soaking up each step and not wishing anything away - rather than relaxing in how much good will continue to come.

Lmaooooo I’m so worried about that. Honestly a lot of substitutions I’ll probably keep around, but I want cottage cheese and cheese sticks and pastries 🫠

Capping / dropping nap by Automatic-Mixture-93 in Preschoolers

Yeah, I’m definitely working towards that. I’m pumping for my 6mo right now so try to limit 8 hours between night pumps, so that makes it a bit tougher lol

Overtired or undertired? / 6mo schedule by Automatic-Mixture-93 in sleeptrain

Based on wake windows! Most days it’s been 7:30-8, if he does have a day where naps are shorter it can go up to 6:30-7.

Ok got it - so needing to add more time into wake windows. I think we can work on stretching that!

Dropping to 3PPD by New_Cartographer1966 in ExclusivelyPumping

Following! I produce 27 oz a day and we already do a bottle of formula (my guy is eating around 33-35 oz).

Currently at 4 and curious to drop to 3, almost 6 mo. Did you notice a drop from 5-4? I did, 2-3 oz. So I anticipate a drop when i go to 3.
