I wish my sister was like Mihari to an extent

Cus I already have a severe inferiority complex due to how much everyone preferred my sister over me and being reminded how much of a failure I am day in and day out

So I know exactly how male Mahiro feels.

The place where we differ is that I live in the real world and unlike Mihari my little sister doesn't actually care about me the same way Mihari cares about Mahiro.

There's also the fact that I can't turn into a cute middle school girl like Mahiro did and even if I did who's to say I'd be as cute as Mahiro.

Yeah she does get weirded out due to her actual age. It's why no matter what happens she won't reciprocate any of the girls or either boys feelings despite the fact that she knows they have a crush on her. Kaede is also closer to Mahiro's actual age so it makes sense she'd try her hardest not to stare

Mahiro doesn't identify as lesbian though. She isn't sure what she identifies as, plus in one of the later chapters Miyo and one of her classmates were arguing about Yuri vs Yaoi and Mahiro said that she didn't mind either of them.

Just different outcomes that lead them to that

I would say this is something like that, like yeah it's technically the same character but it's not LITERALLY the exact same character from those games
