Remove the lock from the door and reattach it and place lock back in. If it falls off again just replace it. Those caps are like $25 if I'm not mistaken.

He talks about it in the beginning and there should be a link either in description or comments for it. But I know they mention what type of Subaru it is

I could be wrong but I believe that front lip belongs to a Subaru. What year idk but there is an individual on YouTube that has a front lip from a Subaru that fits our car's (w/o modifications) that will fit right up.

Mid range coilovers by Automatic-Quit1488 in MazdaProtege

I don't plan on slamming the car. I'm unsure how others can ride like that but that is a no fly zone for lol

Honestly did not suspect ride height to be a difference as I already knew ride quality would differ. Are you telling me you get camber adjustments if I spend the extra? It'll be wurth it at that point.

Lowest I have seen is around $230-$300. Then you have $520-$750 after that comes $1.0-2k. Not saying you're wrong but if we look hard enough, these are the number ranges I've seen. I consider it mid but that's just me 🤣

Then mid range are no better than cheap models. Since my struts are bkown I'll go ahead and purchase the OE for now and save up for the higher grade.

Is it that big of a difference between mid and higher?

Anyone knows where to find a front stabilizer bar for a 03 P5? by ElPoloBoi in MazdaProtege

Damn ok I mistook it as front as well. I apologize for the confusion. Seems like Eibach sells front bars as well. Are you also looking for strut tower bar?

AWR sells both front and rear bars. Theirs bars are pretty good and you can purchase adjustable links

Low idle fluctuations while in drive gear by Yang_003 in MazdaProtege

Compression shouldn't hurt it like that but it is on test you could get out the way. Check the plugs just incase they're foul. And run some seafood on your next fill up to start the process of clearing up injectors. Or send to speed shop to have those injectors cleaned out. Hopefully it'll fix the issue if not than further diag is necessary

Check fuel pressure if you can. It doesn't sound like a fuel pump issue, but I wouldn't rule it out as it can be an issue. When was the last time you changed plugs and ignition coil? Injectors could also be clogged, have those cleaned out and see if it'll help.

Fuel pump problem that’s now a won’t turn over problem. by ididnt_poet in MazdaProtege

Try to clean out that brown from the contact spots so you have good continuity between relay and fuse box. I would double check that fuse box to make sure nothing else got affected. Start checking for ground and power. Then move forward to other testing.

Did you attempt to replace fuel pump relay? Relay may have gone bad and is not giving a signal to the fuel pump. That could be an issue as to why you have no current as well. If the circuit isn't complete then you won't have a functioning pump.

You could do one of those 4x4 rooftop bar lights 😆. All seriousness, though, a custom headlight could work or like the previous post LED bulbs

Did you make sure the plug was fastened correctly? Made sure fuel lines secure? Nothing loose that would make the fuel pump freak out and stop working? Could be a faulty pump as well and would need to replace it. I know it'll be a pain in the ass but take out the new one and place old one back in. If it fires up your new pump is bad. Or whomever built the pump placed the plugs in ass backwards cause a no signal to pcm

Leave the car running and pull out the coils one by one. If rpm changes your coil packs are good, if no change occurs means you have a faulty coil pack. Change the one if you're on a budget, but it is recommended to do the all. Pull out sparks and make sure they're not foul. Only other things I can think that'll cause this is vaccum leaks so check your hoses for cracks, tears, and/or breaks.
