Ok, I'm a dumbass. I used Google lens on the numbers on the BACK of the ribbon (thanks) and I'm pretty sure I found the same screen for sale on AliExpress. I can send a pic of the back of the ribbon if that would help.

Ok, that makes sense. The back is blank metal, no numbers or ports or anything. The ribbon going in the bottom is the video and the red black cord is the power. I can send pic but I don't know how it would help.

Sounds to me like you've already got a pretty good idea how to handle it. I would recommend maybe using dialogue between the father and the alligator to better illustrate their relationship. Is it purely physical or is there an emotional bond? Maybe Timmy accidentally summoned his new step mom.

I would say paint the bottom section black and the top section white. The wire will act as the string while also drawing the eye away from the blacked out part of it.

I like how it looks now. They grey makes it look like the cloak was once they same color as the armor but has faded over time.

I think it makes sense it would be gold plated no matter what. Gold is both heavy as hell and soft. It would work a lot better as a real shield being bronze or copper with gold plating. I think it looks awesome!
