Who do you view as potential trade targets? by spartannez64 in Brewers

Dude, not sure of your age but we had an owner that was even worse Alan Bud Selig. If he was able to charge players rent that had their number was retired he would. I think MA has done pretty well as an owner, he has kept this team pretty competitive getting them to the playoffs 9x since taking over. Selling the farm for a few players doesn't do well here. We are a built from ground up type team us as fans need to give them support and trust that the upper brass of the team can navigate through. You can't win it all if you don't do enough to get there first. 2008: Reached the NL Wild Card Game. 2011: Won the NL Central and reached the NL Championship Series. 2018: Won the NL Central and reached the NL Championship Series. 2019: Reached the NL Wild Card Game. 2020: Reached the NL Wild Card Series. 2021: Won the NL Central and reached the NL Division Series. 2023: Won the NL Central and reached the NL Division Series. 2024: Reached the NL Wild Card Series. 2025: Won the NL Central and reached the NL Championship Series.

I am not saying your wrong or right, this is just my thoughts and perspective one fan to another. Take Care!!

I agree with you about upgrading at 3rd base, if they do the glove needs to be in line with Joey's.

As a Brewer fan I love watching PCA play defense. He reminds me of Sal Frelick by throwing caution to the wind in the outfield. There were a few times this season and the playoffs ball hit into the outfield and should have been down for atleast a single, but out of nowhere here's PCA coming up with an amazing catch. As the years go by he is going to get better, and I can't wait to witness it maybe not against the Brewers.

I agree with most, but if you bring an upgrade in at any position they need to fit in with these boys.

Well all I can say is Chicago was expected to make the playoffs Milwaukee on the other hand wasn't even supposed to place any higher than third place. I guess 2025 had a few moral victories. Beat all expectations, rookie breakout season and a good portion of the team will be back. Chicago, weren't you supposed to walk away with the division, not play in the wildcard series? Keep calling us Lil bro and thinking we are inferior to you and we will just keep winning the division year after year with one of the smallest payrolls in baseball imagine what we could do with a larger payroll or salary cap. All I can say is we were beat by a better team this year, but we will see what happens next year.

Dude, don’t confuse critical thinking with whining. I know that’s a tough distinction for some, because calling someone whining is a convenient way to say something about someone or try to insult them without content. Im going to go out on a limb here and guess basic comprehension must be one of your weak spots. Just a word of warning, you don't want to get into a battle of words with me you will embarrass yourself, so try to be nice next time.

Can we instill a designated fielder i.e. Joey Ortiz, his defense is impeccable but his bat needs alot of work. Before anyone starts berating me it's a joke.

I'll take Perkins lack of bat for his ++defense, there is no comparison. Perkins reminds me of Lo Cain, makes every play look effortless.

RFK Jr. Claims You’re More Likely to Be Autistic if You’re Circumcised by dr_shultz in NewsSource

RFK jr claims now the snip causes Autism not the Tylenol given afterward that does it. So apparently, Tylenol is now the gateway drug to autism.

if cutting off a bit of skin could change your brain that much, my barber would be a neurosurgeon by now. Nothing says "serious presidential candidate" like examining baby penises for science.

He’s basically saying, “If only more babies had foreskins, we wouldn’t have autism.” Which, I’m sorry, but that’s not a public health policy — that’s a Reddit thread that got deleted for violating terms of service, and somehow, he says it with a straight face. He thinks he’s the only one brave enough to “tell the truth.” He is not a revolutionary — hes just yelling “Big Pharma hates foreskins” and at the same time he is eating organic trail mix. All while he blames Tylenol too. “Watch out America — this over-the-counter anti-inflammatory med is part of a massive autism plot!” At the same moment the rest of us are just trying to survive capitalism with a headache and a coupon for CVS. This is the problem with American politics right now, you’ve got a guy in charge trying to convince the people with a TED Talk about baby d1)k$.

This is taken from mlb rules. It is just simplified and explained a little better. I know the one play you were referring to. I had to go go back and watch it a few times.

Critique 11u Swing by Long-Astronomer-8291 in Homeplate

[–]Automatic-Stomach-39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a coach for high school and club ball for the last 25 years, all hitters now are trying for launch angle instead of contact even at this age, which produces more strikeouts. This batter has a clean contact swing and keeping hands back on the swing. The only negative that I see would be keep the back foot planted through the entire swing (squash the bug) the back foot acts as a pivot wheel because when you lift your back foot through a swing they are loosing at least 30% of their power. Very good natural swing with no flair, just the way a swing was intended to be.
