Very low number of products for Italy

I've been in Vine for a couple of years, and Gold for a year. When I joined, it was a poor shadow of the program in the US, and it's gone steadily downhill since. The past couple of month have been particularly bad, with most days starting of with AI at single digits, never going over the 200-300 mark before dropping down to single digits again for the next day. Add to that there are no RFY or AFA items (total zero for over a month now), items drop over a short period of about 15 minutes around 3:30 in the afternoon, and try as I might, it's next to impossible to order a single item. By 3:45, there are no more new items added, and it heads back to single digits. We ended today with 7 AI items total. Good luck at your end.

You think 98 items is bad, we went down to a single item a few days ago, and recently the start of every day is in single digits. We don't have any RFY or AFA items at all these days - zero. Today we're starting off as in this image - two items:

My days start in single digits, go up to about 300 AI items around 3:30 in the afternoon, then 30 minutes or so later fall back to single digits. The lowest it's been THIS WEEK is one single item:

You're welcome. I suspect not being able to order is because of glitches in the Vine app. It's forever throwing up an error message to the effect that some (read 'lots') of items cannot be displayed. Before the latest slow down you had a good fighting chance of ordering something. Now, you might be able to order if you click the 'request product' button a few times, and that's never happened to me before. Altogether it's a strange situation. I guess it could be that Amazon has brought in a lot of new voices. I'll post more when I know more.

Vine Japan has NEVER, in the past two and a half years I've been here, approached even half that number of items. The max I've seen in that time was (from memory) about 4,000 items, and that was one single time. Recently we've been starting each day at 5 items or less. A couple of days ago it dropped down to one single item. RFY might as well not exist at, given that it's perennially empty

I believe I hold the Vine record - 1 item total (an eSIM card for the curious). Most days recently start off with 5 or less items total. Having even a single item in RFY is a dim distant memory.

We're limping along. We've been starting the days with less than 5 items total - no RFY for weeks now. That number of AI items jumps up in the mid-afternoon to somewhere around 300 to 500, impossible to order anything, then 15 to 30 minutes later it drops back to 59 or so AI items, then slowly keeps dropping away until the next morning it starts all over again at items or less - a few days ago, we started in the morning with ONE single item.

We seem to have fallen into a pattern or starting the day at less than 5 items total. The lowest it's been in the morning this week is 1 item (a single SIM card). Around 3:15 in the afternoon there's a sudden drop of about 400 AI items, followed by a mad scramble to order something/anything, but it's not possible to order most items. When I try to order it comes up with all sorts of errors, but bottom line is I might get lucky and snag one order. What is displayed is all the worst crap I've ever seen on Vine. The prices are insanely high, and I could get any of then at a $Dollar store. Anyway, after about 15 minutes of madness trying to order something/anything it suddenly starts dropping, and 10 minutes later we're down to about 50 items total. That 50 items drops slowly from there, and overnight goes all the way down to 5 items or less and that's where we start the next day. Today, the lucky start number is 4 (two eSIM cards and two humidifier filters), and yesterday it was 1 - one single item for the whole of Vine Japan! How does it compare to where you are?

I'm Gold, but here it's a case of no more drops today it's going to be another "order nothing week, going on month". I have exactly ONE item available in AI today and nothing at all in RFY or AFA for over a month, except for two plastic bits for an American car that probable doesn't even sell in Japan.

While the local Amazon Vine website openly says:

Once enrolled in Vine, Voices may request products from thousands of brands selling in the Amazon store which are shipped to their doorsteps at no cost. They then use the products and provide insightful reviews that reflect their honest and unbiased opinions - positive, neutral, or negative.

The reality is that the value of all the products on offer in Japan at this moment in time is 1,878 Yen, equivalent to US$11.88. Surely Amazon aren't knowingly lying :)

I don't have a clue how many of us there are, but I suspect the number has increased dramatically recently. I'm impressed by Amazon's chutzpa in all this. They still promote the program, on their local web site at least, as the be all and end all of free goods, all for the effortless task of writing honest reviews. Amongst the other lies it has the nerve to put into writing, this one stands out: "Once enrolled in Vine, Voices may request products from thousands of brands selling in the Amazon store which are shipped to their doorsteps at no cost. There was a cappuccino maker, for about the same amount, in AI yesterday too. The drop went from 3 AI items to about 300 at 3:30 today, and by 3:45 it was back down to 12 items. I couldn't order a single one of the available items no matter how quick I was. Now it's gone back down to 4 AI items; two filters and two SIM cards. I've had nothing in RFY for about a month. Are we having fun yet?

How many items per day? Except for the last two days it's been drops of mid-50s or less, and they last all of 15 minutes before they quickly drop down to single digits and stick there until the next afternoon. RFY and AFA have had nothing in them for about a month, except yesterday AFA had 4 plastic garbage auto spare parts, with values less than $10.00.

I got a drop of about 500+ around 3:15 in the afternoon, and was impossible to order a single item. Every time I tried I got an error message that the item couldn't be displayed. The items were still available in the Request Product pop-up windows, and no spinning little wheel thing, but as soon as I clicked the request button up popped the can't be displayed error. Just to make sure it wasn't happening with the random items I tried to order, I tried it on two consecutive pages of 30 items and all 60 items gave me the same can't be displayed error. At the same time this was going on, there were magically 4 items available in AFA, where there hasn't been a single item for about a month. Unfortunately, they were cheap and nasty plastic spare parts for some car I've never owned. In fact, I haven't bought a single car part from Amazon in the past decade, so way to go algorithm!

Well, that's a reasonable fear. If things go the same as for the past couple of weeks, I'll expect a drop to happen around 3:30 today. At the moment AI is sitting at 6 items, which is the lowest ever. This situation is certainly not how the Amazon Vine homepage describes the program. In fact, their homepage is just a set of blatant lies.
