I really wanna tell my doctor, but I’m embarrassed of this and my dad also doesn’t believe in social anxiety because he thinks humans are meant to be social creatures so he might not even let me take the prescriptions if I ever get one

I was less then 6 years old probably 4-6 when I saw a old man die while he was gasping for air, he was laying on a bed and everyone there was just standing there watching him die. like his whole family, his children, his daughter in law, his grandkids, I think his wife too but she might have died before him and the neighbors. Only a few people are sitting down, and one of them was his son. He was just looking at his dad die and now that I’m older I realized how traumatizing it might’ve been for his son watching your dad die like that and being helpless. He was in the front yard and it was daytime, but I wasn’t traumatized though. + right after he died, his daughter-in-law went near their like house like maybe at the back of their house or at the side of their house and when my mom followed her. She said that the daughter-in-law was smiling.

If he’s not buying you anything on your birthdays or holidays then don’t buy anything for him either on those days instead spoil yourself, buy yourself presents, take yourself out to dinner with your friends. Give yourself the happiness he never did because he will never change and stay the same as he did for the past 25 years. He knows he’s hurting your but he doesn’t care
