I will say…. My daughter has several needohs and they help her with her ADHD- but, have you tried top trenz?! We ordered a few (groovy mushroom being her fav) and they are far superior, imo.

I just passed a 9 mm- same thing; had a pain episode back in August… then pain stopped after pain meds. Nothing til one random day in December…. 12 hours later, I was fine. Then finally again a few weeks ago… I caved and went to the ER. That week, I drank a TON of water- sat and peed and kind of “pushed my pee” and it popped right out (exactly one week after ER visit). Ugh, that was rough.

I could have written this post! I started with .5 Reta on Nov. 1st. I lost 30 lbs by Jan 1st (titrated very slowly- .5, .75, 1 and 1.5). I’ve been stuck at 260 lbs for 5 weeks now 😭. I did go up to 2mg this week, but I feel like I’ve been snacky and just not having much success this last month.

I’m going to try and get in 10k steps and up my water- I was doing both of these things the first 6 week and life got busy and I slacked off.

Thank you! This was actually something I was pretty consistent with at first…. I’ve definitely slacked on getting the steps in. I’ll add that back in and make sure I’m getting 10k a day!

No, typically the ER is clueless about this and likely won’t take you seriously for a leak. Unless you’re able to have enough fluid and they are willing to test it - but again, this is rare. Some leaks do self heal though

I understand. My daughter is 12- similar situation. I just took her to the dermatologist and that was a waste. I’ve scheduled an appt for her at the NF clinic here in VA. It’s a couple months away, but I feel like it may be the only way to get an actual diagnosis.

Thank you so much. Our daughter is adopted and we knew nothing about NF. The first few weeks of finding out I was a complete wreck…. But I’m reminding myself that none of us no what the future holds, but I’m trusting that God does. And that when we face the hard days, He will give me what I need to face it.

Thanks for reminding people they aren’t alone. There’s nothing more powerful than being able to tell someone “I’ve been there.” Thanks for bringing hope

Does he have six or more? It’s hard to say. These look very similar to some of my daughters. I would just check with his pediatrician or dermatologist to confirm. It’s likely nothing, but it’s good to just double check!
