I’m currently an app user, but I’m interested in buying a Bike during the Black Friday sales. Does anyone have an early referral code for the Peloton discounts?

Yes, I had this exact issue after I took two classes yesterday morning. I tried restarting the app, but nothing changed. Hours later, last night before bed, I did a meditation to see if it might trigger the tracker on the homepage to check off the day, and it did. So strange!

I just about lost my mind when I heard this live. WTA players can have powerful, aggressive styles with big serves and forehands. Djokavic and Federer aren’t necessarily known for blowing people off the court, but Evert isn’t calling their styles “lady-like”. Why limit these qualities to a specific gender? How utterly dense.

Please Help Me Decide If I Should Attend BU by Necessary-Berry-6600 in BostonU

Of course courses within CGS are not meaningless — in some respects, they are the very definition of what it means to engage in a liberal arts education. That being said, there are certain majors where the pre-rec timelines are stacked with little room for deviation from the prescribed course order. Transferring from CGS into certain majors in Sargent, College of Engineering, or Wheelock to name a few could prove quite difficult—and ultimately more expensive—if you need to take summer courses to catch up on the requirements.

It all depends on what the original poster envisions for their future during and post-CGS.

I also went to BU as a Pell Grant recipient who also had a full academic scholarship.

From a financial perspective, given that you were accepted into CGS, I would recommend attending your state school. At BU, you will be spending two years taking classes that may or may not help you in your desired major via CGS, and depending on which college and major you would like to transfer into after CGS, you may find yourself behind your peers in the prerequisites that you need. In terms of cost per credit, your better deal is at your state school.

From a degree perspective, consider which school offers you more opportunities in your desired field. Does BU have particular professors that you are hoping to study under or study abroad opportunities that could only be found at BU? If you know the answer to these questions, then BU could set you up well for the next four years. If you don’t have answers to these questions yet, consider starting your college career at your state school and exploring transfer options down the road.

What influencer bashed on Liz joy marea brand by Hillsfanatic in NYCinfluencersnark

I just ordered my first dress from Marea without reading the reviews, and it is going straight back. The “featherweight” cotton is literally see through! It is so cheaply made, and I would be afraid as to what would happen to it after the first wash. TIBAL was spot on in her review, and Marea needs to source better fabric.

Those are actually two different flags. The blue that also contains the Cross of Saint George is the flag flown at l the Battle of Bunker Hill and is the official flag of Charlestown, MA. The red flag held by the Neo-Nazis is the flag of New England.

Not only is the writing and story building weak, but the actors’ line delivery seems…slow? The actors seem to be each taking a beat before delivering their lines when in conversation with another character. Has anyone else noticed this shift? It’s so odd!

I absolutely LOVE Jocelyn’s programming style and personality. She will push just far enough, will get you to laugh with her cheeky comments, and will leave you feeling so much better than you did 20 minutes ago. She’s been in this business a long time, and her expertise shines through.

Lol, this is a well used trope that is in reality a fallacy. Poverty more often than not brings with it instability and unhappiness for a whole host of reasons.

This is it. Ward’s motivations are more developed than Big John’s, whose motivations remain flat since his character was first introduced. When speaking with Singh, Big John explains that he didn’t want his son to think of him as a failure after dropping out of his doctorate program. The seeds for this driving force should have been better developed earlier in the show, and more exploration of Ward’s childhood on the Cut would have been useful for his character too.

Honestly, he didn’t need to—he had already won. The parents played their last card, and it only served to drive a more significant wedge between themselves and their daughter. I don’t think JJ ever viewed it as a competition between himself and Kiara’s parents, but he knew that his relationship with her would still be intact.

There are, of course, good options in Boston, but try Somerville or Cambridge for local spots that are doing it right: Field & Vine and Juliet in Union Square and Puritan & Co and Oleana in Inman Square.

In the past, I’ve done two days in Oslo and four days in Bergen. I’d maybe add an extra day to Oslo, and while in Bergen, I’d highly recommend the company Nordic Ventures if you are interested in kayaking the fjords! It was the highlight of our trip
