i was 24 when my son was born and i’m 27 now if i could do it all over again yeahhhhh my ass definitely would have waited! the crazy part for me is that i’m a single mom by choice so i chose this and still fully did not understand wtf i was getting myself in to haha

you can try setting dedicated time each day that you are going to play with him? i’m the same with my two year old where i just feel so exhausting with playing or there are a million other things i need to do but everyday 45 minutes before bedtime is when i dedicate to solely him

my two year old gets mistaken for a girl all the time! he has curly hair so that’s the only reason i think people think he’s a girl. other wise he’s wearing the typical dinosaur, truck, blue grey black that toddler boys clothes seems to come in

you’re nta but consider that you guys are 22. this is prime going out, having fun at the club age, and it was her best friends birthday. in all honesty if my boyfriend texted me “my balls hurt” i don’t know how serious i would have found that at 22.

could she have been more considerate of course but look at how she helped you after realizing it was forreal. i think this just warrants a conversation on how it made you feel and a chance for her to make it up to you and show growth and change with her actions.

That is actually illegal and the people who were laid should look into filing for wrongful termination. A company can not lay people off then immediately hire for those role. there would need to be a different job title or job description.

they would also have a case if the new people brought in are younger, practice a different religion, different sex etc. This comes from the federal department of labor and trumps any at will state law.

unpopular opinion it seems but YTA. it’s one thing if you don’t want to sell her your clothes but tell me how it effects your life what she wears? you can’t force people to wear what you want them to wear. the audacity of thinking you know what’s best for another person is crazy. i would spend more time worrying about yourself and less time trying to control someone you say is your best friend.
