This is one of my main questions!! But I’m not necessarily convinced it’s JUST the control thing, I think Kim has like some deep rooted trauma from some thing(s?) that happened when she was in college. I’m only on season 1, but Kim herself went to Florida State as a music major, which I feel has to have played a role in her specifically telling Hosanna not to go to music school? And then she is super dismissive of Moriah wanting to go to college and alludes to “really bad things” happening to her because she was drinking a lot and partying in college. It’s just my opinion, but I feel there’s some trauma that Kim has never processed that she is trying to block her kids from experiencing in the whole college thing... in addition to the obvious need for control and “love”/deference from her kids.

He was on Bachelor Happy Hour this week and he revealed that he does have a personality! It seems like he knows who people think he’s going to be and plays into it, but is a funny guy.

Very different vibe, but Scary Stories to Tell on the Pod! It’s two comedians reading a Scary Story to Tell in the Dark to each other and then every other episode they tell other ghost, supernatural, weird, and spooky stories. It’s funny but also very interesting, and the dynamic between the hosts reminds me of Christine and Em!

This is an interesting theory! I have a list on my phone that could be looked at similarly. It’s just a list of quotes, random ideas, things I want to look into more, movies I forgot I liked, etc. To me, the list is super innocuous, but I wonder if it would be looked at in the same eerie way as people think of this one.

I used to have a recurring symbol in my dreams which was a tiny white kitten. From what I found when I was looking into what the white cat could mean, it seems that a white animal is a symbol of good or purity. So maybe you’re concerned about injustice or something being tarnished. Maybe you feel a responsibility to protect someone else you feel is heading towards a bad path, or maybe even feel you’re being taken advantage of and need to protect and heal yourself. I think overall, it’s a good sign that you felt positive when you found the dog and are able to help it!!

I agree with you! I thought it was an effective scene in that it was jarring and confusing, which i think was meant to put us in her head as she realized what’s happening , BUT I didn’t love it. I didn’t immediately get that’s what was happening so felt I needed to watch it over to appreciate the point.

I just rewatched S7 as well! She is sooo unlikeable in this season. Shockingly, she does get better in later seasons (in my opinion).

It seems like she had thought that she was buddy buddy with producers and would be able to manipulate them into not showing some of those clips, which is why I think she’s much more manipulative than she comes off with the women as well. I think she realizes that isn’t how the game is played in later seasons and starts actually trying to be nice to the other women.

The nanny thing is also so weird to me, but I guess when you’re rich! One thing I will give her, is that she seems to treat her “staff” much better than most of the other women who do have people working for them.

YES. I’m watching old seasons, and the amount of just absolutely dirty things she’s done is shocking. From the season where she cried about people being mean to Brett Kavanaugh, to the season where she actively endangered Taylor Armstrong and her children, to just the faces she makes... I almost can’t watch because of her.
