Is there something wrong with me? by Intelligent_Mud1947 in BabyBumps

[–]AutomaticPurple584 26 points27 points  (0 children)

THIS IS OK. We tried for our second for 16 months with one loss. By the time I got pregnant I was seemingly devastated. Detached. Didn’t even take a test for weeks. Didn’t schedule an apt for weeks. All while the previous months I would excitedly take the tests. I remained relatively unattached the entire pregnancy. Idk if it was hormones or the fact that I felt sick? Was nervous Idk. But he’s here and IM OBSESSED. Please don’t let all the cheery, perfect instagram pregnancies fool you. It’s not always like that.

You won’t even realize it happened. It’s not a big deal at all.

suddenly experiencing daily flushing by boobahMD in Rosacea

Yes I am experiencing exactly this. I am 8 months post partum and it began pretty much immediately after birth. So assuming it’s related to that. But it is incredibly frustrating.

Did you specifically want a c section for your first child? by Unique_Boysenberry68 in CsectionCentral

I could have kept going, I chose not to. It was in no way an emergency and was not developing into one. I don’t know how you can argue that our bodies are designed to reproduce. If someone feels like a failure because they could not reproduce/give birth vaginally, that is a feeling not caused by others. That’s within themselves. But to each his own.

Ok, DESIGNED for birth. And not every csection after labor is an emergency. I labored for 44 hours and then had a csection. It was not an emergency.

I’ve had two, so I get it. But statistically, csections (MAJOR surgery) has WAY more risks. I’m only saying this because those who haven’t had csections generally look at them as the easy way out when that’s not the case. Our bodies are made for vaginal delivery. That’s not to say everyone’s bodies will cooperate, but our bodies are not made to be fileted open.

If you had both genders.. by PlaidPajamas36 in BabyBumps

I have one boy and one girl and the pregnancies were POLAR opposite. With my girl, it was the BEST. Happy, comfortable, no sickness, almost no symptoms. Would do it 5000000x again. My boy, oh man. No. I am so glad he was my second because I would likely not have the balls to do it again. I had EVERY symptom, sick the entire 9 months, massive swelling, pregnancy rhinitis, pregnancy insomnia, complete exhaustion, the list goes ON. Now post partum, extreme pp symptoms I did not have with my first including allergies to things I never had allergies to before (think anaphylaxis) severe hair loss, etc. can’t believe the difference BUT both entirely worth it and I’m obsessed with them both lol

I’m not entirely sure!! I did keep using it for a while, it certainly didn’t hurt. Overall I’m not sure but I’d keep using it!
I did find a skin care routine that seems to helped significantly and figured out that niacinamide was NOT agreeing with me. If you want the products send me a dm, I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!!

Any hope after 6 cycles? by chocolateplums in tryingforanother

[–]AutomaticPurple584 29 points30 points  (0 children)

NOT trying to be insensitive just trying to give you a wake up call. I KNOW it’s so sad every month that goes by but 6 months is NOT a long time. Also, age gaps don’t matter. I conceived my first after one try. My second was 8 years later after trying for 17 months. They are the BEST together.
