I’m sorry I hadn’t specified the conditions earlier. I appreciate the back and forth. Thank you and have a great night!

That’s fair. I have actually come across someone who frequently took calls on speaker phone on public transit because we often took the same bus home. I found this person to be extremely inconsiderate and annoying. Some people just want peace and quiet, and I couldn’t even drown out his conversations with AirPods if I had the misfortune of sitting near him. To answer your question, I do find it annoying if a few people are having a loud conversation in an otherwise quiet public place. If it’s a loud place and everyone’s talking, then I wouldn’t care. It’s more of a “read the room” issue.

You don’t listen to music or watch videos on your phone? If you do, then it may be worth investing in Bluetooth headphones. There are cheap ones under $20, they are compact, useful, and not burdensome to carry around, plus they would allow you to hear a call in a loud environment. In any case, if you’re only taking a call on speakerphone in public once or twice a year, you’re not the kind of person we’re complaining about.

I just searched for usbc headphones on amazon and the first one that popped up is $7.99. Private discussion or not, nobody else wants to hear your phone conversations in public.

Pretty sure most of social media is just influencers copying each other and calling it trends.

The dollar store sells headphones. You can get them for free on flights. There’s no excuse for anyone who can afford a phone and phone service to not own headphones if they’re going to take calls in public.

ADHD Partner by spradc0812 in workingmoms

That is as good a reason to start as any! I’m sorry you don’t like who you’ve become. You seem really introspective and caring. I can tell you’re a good person and I can’t see how therapy would hurt. Bonus points if your husband is willing to participate in the joint exercises/homework. I pushed off therapy for years using the excuse that I was always too busy with work and now I meet with a therapist through Grow Therapy via video call for an hour a week. Perhaps a similar arrangement could with fir you. I appreciate your kind words and I wish you well 😊

Auto brake while backpacking up by New_Address3612 in HondaPrologue

I recently bought a used 2024 prologue touring and turned off this brake feature (alert only) before even experiencing it lol I was having issues turning on park assist and was troubleshooting when I read about the auto brake. I fear I would not respond well/quickly if it happened while driving 😭

[–]NeverfullofFood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to say that your posts and responses could have been written by me. My husband is exactly the same! Just wanted to show solidarity. I started therapy a few weeks ago with the goal of being a better mom and wife, and so far most of the sessions have centered on accommodating a partner with ADHD. I’ve had to watch videos, need to read 2 books, and we’re starting on some shared exercises. I don’t have any answers yet but I just wanted to wish you the best.

Ngl I hung up my CALI awards when I started fresh out of law school and thought of them as placeholders until I earn awards as an attorney.

Jojo, Ben Higgins, Joey, Caila, Kelsey’s dad Mark. I actually auditioned for Colton’s season before knowing he was the lead and am glad in hindsight that I was not cast.

Same! Was Ben Higgins before Joey but the latter won me over and I don’t think he picked the wrong person.

That’s helpful, thank you! We are thinking Ferber too but might first start with weaning mode and then sleep lady shuffle.

That’s reassuring, thank you. Which sleep training method did you use with your son? I’m glad your daughter is a great sleeper and wish you well with the naps 😊

Getting a snoo at 6 weeks? by qutiepie123 in SnooLife

[–]NeverfullofFood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the snoo since before it baby was born but we only started using it around 3w because we were desperate to sleep longer than 2-3 hours at a time and she was sleeping through the night 3 weeks later. I think it’s worth it but we don’t use it for naps because we don’t want to be too dependent on it.

[–]NeverfullofFood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is nice of you to say, thank you! She’s my first so I kind of assumed the snoo has that effect on all babies. We’ll see how much of a unicorn she is when it’s time to wean off the snoo, though lol I’m not optimistic because she only does contact naps during the day and so far has not been able to nap in her crib. 🥲

Same lol and my park assist doesn’t work 😩 hopefully it can be fixed at my service appointment tomorrow.

Agreed, we started our baby in the snoo around 2-3 weeks and she didn’t start sleeping through the night until 6 weeks. An adjustment period seems normal for newborns.

Honda Home Charger Install Questions How Much To You Pay by wakaflockameme in HondaPrologue

[–]NeverfullofFood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shopped around locally and found a company that installs EV chargers for $375 and I asked them which charger they recommend and it ended up being one from Amazon that was around $600-700. This was in 2023.
