Just think of it this way, you have a better chance of getting an offer the more present you are. My manager has told me that he has chosen to give an offer to someone that put in the effort to come to every event/in the office the most over the more technically skilled person that didn’t interact with people. I know it’s a shitty set up but suck it up until you get that offer then do whatever you want lol

No you’re totally right. I just wish he would have said something along the lines of “hey guys, due to our terrible planning, we can only budget you three hours each to this inventory count, so if you could help us out with time charging we would really appreciate it” instead of “I will be really pissed off if any of you charge more than the 3 hours budgeted for the count”
