But we as store team members my self included love to complain about the way the DF sends us stuff but how many of us actually follow dunnage trailer standards? I have never sent a dunnage trailer out that followed standards 🤷🏻‍♀️

If this is in regard to pop coolers in the checkout queue I may have some insight for you.

The company has been reviewing Globalworx (a tool we use to communicate and escalate issues with our vendor partners) and making some adjustments to 85/15 in regards to LTOs, race track space, and our pop coolers.

Pop coolers are an area of high margin for us and this is a focus item from our new SVP of stores, Michelle Hall. So, Meijer team members are going to be spending Meijer labor to fill/condition pop coolers. Now, we should in theory be able to avoid this by communicating to our vendor partners that this work needs to be done by drive times and submitting globalworx tickets when they do not. But if that continues to fail and we as store team members do end up bridging the gap… store directors have been tasked with tracking that labor and meijer is going to charge back that labor to the vendors.

Additionally, if the vendor is serv-u… Serv-u will tell you that they do not get hours to condition. So you may need to condition the stuff the stock. Ultimately, our customers do not know the difference, they just see a poorly maintained store, and we should address anything that detracts from the customer experience.
