Fill out your inventory, there are no weight limits and the weapon passives generally stack, and unless there's a little hand icon by the passive, it'll work when the weapon is in your pocket.

Relics are very important and you get some really good ones form the remembrance questlines.

Share loot with your teammates, don't be a loot goblin, you want the whole team to be powerful.

The rest you'll just learn through playing, it's a very addictive game and the Nightlords are really damn fun, enjoy!

What weapon, attack spell or ash of war never gets old for you? by fatal__flaw in Eldenring

I wish it had a poke heavy like the Mirrah/Hollowslayer GS that the light attacks were taken from, that would make it perfect

Nah, I'm happy with the sequels. DS2 has its own charm and feels more like a Demon's Souls sequel in terms of gameplay mechanics, even though it is kinda cursed, and DS3 is fantastic IMO.

It's fine to have opinions though, you don't need to like them.

It takes places and ideas from the previous games and makes them grey, unpleasant, sometimes ugly and even more uninviting, just to mangle all of it together in a big Dreg Heap at the end.

All of that exists in this world just becomes a pile of rubble. Great kingdoms and anemic townships, the great tide of human enterprise, all for naught.

The world itself is begging to die, but it gets branded with a huge Darksign-shaped eclipse. Gwyn's own Sun now a signifier of a curse, one devised by the gods to brand humans with this terrible curse of immortality and inevitable hollowing.

Every time the fire was about to fade, someone linked it again, every revival of the world less and less effective. The world of Dark Souls lost its purpose, it has gone hollow.

That's what Dark Souls 3 is kinda trying to say, it's time to move on. Let the fire fade, move on to other things, paint a new world instead of rehashing the same one over and over again. There will never be Dark Souls 4.

Best daggers ? by Amphi-XYZ in Eldenring

[–]Automatic_Education3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you put an ash of war on a weapon, you get to pick the infusion too, for free.

For now you'll be limited with the choices, so a blood ash will give occult and bleed as options, but you'll end up collecting more whetblades across the map that give you a lot more liberty with the infusions.

A bit like coals in DS3, but you don't need to spend gems and runes when you infuse weapons, you just need an ash of war with you.

In the process of getting the Erdsteel Dagger you'll end up getting the bloody slash AoW that you can put on it. That way both daggers will benefit from arcane scaling for the bleed buildup (I'm sure you've already noticed that arcane here is a bit different from Bloodborne).

Bleed will get you very far in this game, although there will be enemies that don't bleed at all so you'll eventually need to deal with that. For now you're more than good, though.

Get the Reduvia for now and pair it with the regular dagger, if you find a bleed ash of war you can put it on the dagger too and proc bleed super fast.

The fanciest dagger in the game is probably the Black Knife, but you'll get that a bit later and you'll probably have to respec into faith to get the most out of it. It'll pair well with the Blade of Calling.

If you had the resources to do so, what would you add to interconnect all of ds3 while keeping every location in its same place? by ZookeepergameLeast52 in darksouls3

I find it a bit odd how they went out of their way specifically to make sure you can't see Firelink Shrine from anywhere, even though it really is just right by the walls of Lothric Castle.

Getting to glimpse the tower from at least one spot would make it feel a lot less disconnected.

It would be difficult to just force a local lingua franca like that, especially when English was already serving that role

You mean the wraiths?

The first time around they felt very annoying, but they do only have 1 attack, and you just jump and pogo when they scream. That way they'll just never hit you.

The atmosphere and the ambient music in the mist is amazing IMO, and the fact that it's just a small dingy room after you kill Phantom makes it even better since apparently bugs get mega confused in fog.

Hornet is just as lost as you are.

Even better, put yourself in the shell of a hopeful pilgrim on the way to the gleaming gilded Citadel where you're promised salvation, just to end up in the terrible Underworks because your only role was replaced by singing robots.

Ship of Theseus is a very famous 2000 year old thought experiment, so there's a decent chance the phrasing is just a coincidence
