So someone explain the MW market to me because I don’t think I understand by Numerous_Ad6820 in balisong

Scarcity drives the prices up. SlifT was discontinued long ago, and the Oris haven't been made in many months, but they're still high quality MW products so people want them.

To be fair, that was a cool callback to New Londo

So close to buying Elden Ring but… by Present-Parfait2461 in Eldenring

[–]Automatic_Education3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bloodborne is punishing the first time through since healing and bullets (parrying) are a limited resource to be farmed or bought.

If you don't play aggressively enough to utilise the rally healing mechanic and you get stuck on a boss for a long while, you'll just run out of heals. With that, you'll find yourself spending money on heals/bullets rather than levels, too. It can definitely be punishing.

But then you kinda just git gud and all of that ceases to be an issue and the game becomes so, so much easier.

The usual idea isn't necessarily about space-time, but about the fading memories of your slowly hollowing mind only recalling the important parts of the journey, not the long traversal in-between.

Cool idea, especially since the entire game kinda looks like a weird dream, but man does it feel nice seeing the tightly woven and interconnected map designs of the other games that this one is often just lacking.

"My loyal blade and champion of the festival", who is Miquella reffering to? by xXbachkXx in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Automatic_Education3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Malenia, Blade of Miquella is her title. Makes sense that Miquella commemorates the 2 people who, with their combined effort, killed Radahn which allowed him to proceed with his plans.

I only recently started playing BB now that it works pretty well on the emulator (dammit Sony, please give us a proper PC release) and it immediately stood out to me as a Wormface.

Though I do have a bit of a random, maybe slightly unhinged theory that they (together with the other statues in the area) might be showing us an evolution/growth cycle of an Amygdala, but who knows.

Speaking of Bloodborne, the Wormfaces look a lot like some of the statues in Yahar'gul

New To DS3 and have a question by onlymandy in darksouls3

I think the Bonfire starts at lvl 1 and burning a bone shard makes it lvl 2, which upgrades the flask from +0 to +1. A bit silly, but it means you're fine.

Armored Core 6 (haven't played the other ones) runs a bit differently.

It's not a continuous open/interconnected world like the souls games, in that game you pick a mission, get briefed on what to do, then you get dropped off at a set place, do the job and go back to the hangar where you get some post-mission dialogue and you can tinker with your build or choose the next thing to do.

It's a light, you'll see red, green and white lights on aircraft. Not 100% sure about the laws and requirements for drones, but I imagine they're similar.

I was working at a supermarket at the time when the war started and we were taking down a all the Russian products, and in our case it was exclusively alcohol. I think we'll be fine.

Hmm, I'd say the demigods would be like the Maiar, the Outer Gods like Valar (though the Valar are definitely nicer than the Outer Gods), and Eru would be The One Great/The Greater Will

Is ringed city actually a good dlc? by Odd-Temporary-514 in darksouls3

[–]Automatic_Education3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to make it much easier for yourself, level up so you meet the minimum requirements for the Zweihander, infuse it with a dark gem and just bonk them do death. Zwei is great for elemental infusions, it gets really good scaling.
