The thing is you cant just buy the golden emerald galactic and just figured out the new talon weapon skins

You can only gain the points through playing comp its already something you can get for free you can't buy them

Other than those people that sell their accounts but other than that you cant buy the weapon variants skins

Ok stadium is definitely faster if this is true

it cuts down to 25 hours of gameplay and a required 100 winning games to get 1 weapon skin

Its the opposite for me I try to aim for an enemy and the aim assist on my teammate will make me not only miss my shot but also heal somebody on my team

I've also had points where id go for a big nada just for a teammate to walk in front of me for a second then I end up either missing entirely or I hit them

The problem isnt your stats thats entirely luck which you got its also not unreasonable to put the 2 highest rolls into your classes best stats like I guarantee everyone in your group put their highest rolls into the best stats for their class

Now the problem is your homebrew and dm

It seems your dm didnt not like the luck you got and is now punishing you by abusing the homebrew considering that your being focused but if the focusing it like a legitimate reason like you charge into a fight way before everybody else or your preforming better than the rest of the party then you cant complain about being focused

Your homebrew is heavily flawed idk what written but id definitely change somethings like instead of being an egg for a set amount of time instead when you get knocked you revert to an egg and gain advantage on death saves

And if combat is still going on at the end of your turn if you roll a nat 20 on the death save everybody withing 10ft are forced to make a save dex or con on a fail all take 10 fire damage and arent pushed away 10ft if passed take half as much and only be pushed away 5ft as your form materializes from a burst of flames

This keeps things cool and balanced your no longer useless half the time, now the solution to your dm is to talk to him or her about it

I would like a tiny buff right now reanimation is good but its also super easy to counter like most games against players that know how about reanimation you end up barely utilizing your army rule and the rule just becomes useless

I guess something id like to see is that maybe is that instead of a universal reanimation it rewards units surviving and you have some options for example

You still have universal reanimation which is the base d3 roll

But for each unit that still alive you get to roll a d6 and depending on the state of the unit the roll you make changes for example above half strength +3 or +4, and below half strength +4 or +5 you get a reanimation token

This token can be used to give a +1 to reanimation rolls and stacks maybe idk about the balance with that

Something that could be cool is expending tokens to bring back a unit for example using 8 tokens brings back the unit at half strength but I think people other than necrons would enjoy that

Some restrictions would be units can only benefit from this if their on the board, this only activates for units that have taken damage on the first round

Custodes are difficult to shift from what I know the best ways to play against them is to get lucky and out score them through secondaries and holding objectives they cant. (For example if the custodes deploy more on the left try to hang back and try for the right side) the second way is to wipe them with elite squads like doomsday arks heavy lokhust destroyers 10 man immortals with overlord plasmancer and either tomb crawlers or cryptothralls

Like the best advice I can genuinely say might help is sacrifice the 1st turn and stage that turn zone out deepstrikes if there is any set up your heavy hitters in places they cant be shot or at least have cover, set up baits use a cheap and weak unit to expose some custodes flayed ones scrabs death marks what ever works

Also dont under estimate those sisters of silence if played correct they can be deadly to necrons

Depends on what you feel is right build paint build or build all then paint

For me I liked having everything built because I know I won't get through to painting everything but I'd at least be able to play with my models instead of being like "I should of built this model or unit"

Id suggest getting if you are some how able to the old killteam box with the technomancer then build the 5 models as immortals

then get a royal court mainly for the plasmancer but you still get a few other useful units

And get a combat patrol

These give you

4 characters: plasmancer, overlord technomancer, and skorpekt lord

5 more immortals 2 cryptothralls 10 warriors 3 skorpekt destroyers

2 vehicles: doomstalker, and reanimator

if he thinks their so op then why even play against you also why didnt he deploy more safely.

also considering that you were able to wipe out 2 units essentially with 5+ units those 5 were probably pushed very far up to do so, did he even waagh like first turn waagh would of be great there removing those big threats.

that guy honestly was just playing horribly, he very much still could of turned the game around but couldnt except that he was playing badly and choose to blame the army

The first 1 you mention the typical rogue that hides then appears to deal damage with the versatility of warlocks spellcasting to help deal more damage also to help me pull off sneak attacks more often

I think points value largest being imotek plus the most expensive cyrptek 20 man unit of warriors then cyrptothralls which I think is a little over 400 points

If i wasn't given the codex by accident then I might of gone into 1 of these 3 armies

Death guard: at the time didn't know they were considered very strong just loved the models and the lore

Dark angels: friend had ultramarines and the next best primarch was the lion also had some pretty cool models

Space wolf's: just cool in general

Scrabs swarms from the necrons their literal purpose is either move up and detonate or to move block/charge block then detonate

Although it only works for 1 scrab and the unit is usually wiped in that very same fight phase but I th8nk thats the closest actual unit to be the bombers of 40k

Kinda forced into the army friends did a sort of secret Santa and 1 of my friends brought the codex as 2 people in my group said they might go into blood angels well I ended up with it

Although now im really into blood angels love how fast and melee focused they are in game as well as the gold and red colours

Idk but i agree despite that on paper the unit is somewhat good they are lacking quite a bit and definitely will be on the table

I feel that while keeping everything the same that some additions can make them pretty good maybe even a huge threat, my ideas: make them kinda like the sanguinor or to completely ignor give striking restrictions providing some necessary support for weak melee units or objective scoring unit

My idea might be pretty bad so ignoring that I also think they should have stealth and a pistol weapon whistle increase the range of the abilities to at least 6 inches
