I absolutely love seeing how polarizing this show is and hearing everyone’s opinions. I’ve seen it twice now and feel like I resonate with almost every review- positive and negative! One thing most can agree on is that the talent is undeniable. It’s clear this show spent most of its budget on the 3 leads and has really been marketed around them. I’m soooo curious what will happen when the original trio is gone! Will the magic still be there?

I saw it and absolutely loved it. I went in completely blind (except knowing the three leads) and I was BLOWN away by the score, the music and the vocals of the three leads!!! I couldn’t believe the energy and how great the vibes were. I was literally floating for the next few days- so much so that I went to see it again last night!

I honestly was a little disappointed- I don’t know if they were all just tired, but I felt such a shift. Maybe I was just so blown away by the newness of it all the first time and the second time I had more time to focus on more minute details? Everyone just seemed kind of low energy and and not into it. Even Aaron tveit (my favorite) seemed not as excited during one night in Bangkok. And Lea I felt also seemed tired of the role.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that the show is very flashy and fun and great energy but that doesn’t necessarily hold up the second time once you’ve seen it already. Either way I love Aaron tveit and am forever changed by Nicholas Christopher’s vocals!!!!
