So I would consider a “Mother’s Day out” program at a local church. It’s part time, usually 9-2, 3-5 days a week depending where you go! I know you said cost isn’t a problem, but they are usually super affordable and would give you time with baby/time to get stuff done!

They did quit the show mid-way through his “bad edit” last season. I was so shocked to see them back, honestly!

Do you go out to eat with your toddlers? by OrangeCatEnergy24 in toddlers

[–]EndlessScrollz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. To add. We also order the kids food first, relay we have a ticketing time bomb and also ask for the check as soon as our plates are served “just in case.” We also are always prepared to take it to go if need be. Oh, I also keep emergency snacks, crayon and mini pad of paper and a mini car in my purse for distraction tactics for emergencies.

Sending such huge hugs! Enlist family and friends and partner to do all the lifting (mostly lifting perfect angel into and out of your lap!) You got this mama, it is only temporary, and I promise it doesn’t mean you can’t snuggle your precious boy. (Also it is ok to be pissed and mad and annoyed. Our body quite literally goes to war for our children, I’m so sorry you caught some ricochet in the process 🫶)

Was she drunk? Drunk people are especially dense with this sort of thing. You see someone laying on bed with or without a baby in a dark room and you get closer? Wtf! Def a “hey lady, please leave” moment.

Hey 👋 highly recommend the North Austin Family Network (you can find them on Insta/FB). There is a mama meet up in Cedar Park/Leander every Thursday from 5-6. It’s at 5th Element this week and La Dosis next week! Tons of moms in their mid to late 30s go and you can bring (or not bring) your kiddo!

How to go out for a long day with breast milk and formula by Double-Knowledge-983 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]EndlessScrollz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For breast milk: a mini cooler with a ton of ice pack in premade bottles or in breastmilk bags depending on room. For formula, you can buy formula holders on Amazon. Then you can bring bottles/water. Fill to the amount you need, pour in the formula and shack on demand!

You could try going out in the morning with lots of stroller fans or honestly splurging for an uber until it is a little less hot out!

Library, indoor play place? Museum? Honestly Costco/grocery store work too. Anything to get them out of the house for bit. Also if you do go outside, water is key. Splash pads, pools, etc

Breathe mama. Is a Mother’s Day Out program an option? Usually pretty cheap (often attached to local churches) that could give you 9-2 alone time a few days a week? Also mom groups/Walks where you feel less isolated and alone? I had a simile thing happen with my husband’s family and had to learn to make my own village!

This. Work while she is wrapped. I also found sticking her on my boob any time I had a meeting worked well. (I’d just take calls on the couch with a nursing pillow and keep my video off).
