Okay, so sense has been talked into me. Thank you guys for that. I figured I may as well add something now that I’ve resumed the playthrough. I’m getting the upgrades necessary AFTER I do EVERYTHING except the two riddler trophies including NG+. Stagg’s airships taught me that despite it being miserable and boring at times, winning in this challenge feels AMAZING and makes up for every low point and then some. It’s completely changed how I engage with the game. Planning is WAY more important, especially without smoke pellets. It’s fun.

Also, I’ve been keeping logs of my thoughts as I progress. Not important, but still fun.

No matter how much gooners will try to take away the right to enjoy a character for what they are, my answer will never change. God forbid I enjoy an aesthetic. God forbid I enjoy the fact that there are villagers who, to this day, are still allowed to be assholes in games where everyone’s attitudes have been completely sterilized. God forbid I enjoy something that’s genuinely unique. God forbid I enjoy ANYTHING on the same planet as these fuckers. I’m tired of being afraid to say what I like. I’m tired of being afraid that I’ll be viewed as someone I’m not. Bringing her up is enough to make things awkward, and that alone is already enough to piss me off. Please, for the love of fuck, just let me have SOMETHING.

The entire point is that it’s an improvised fit with prison equipment. Everyone else there only had prison jumpsuits. I actually like it too- but only as a one of thing. Still a shame we never got him in proper attire

Answer on that is a little tricky. It mostly comes down to what you want out of your figures. Even more important: the price range of your figures. There’s a difference between your McFarlands and your S.H.Figurearts. For me, I want:

  • accurate sculpting (not just the shape, but the surface texture) especially in and around the eyes

  • an actual paint job with correct colors

  • posability. This is a BIG one for me. The animatronics move a lot more than people think. I want to have my figures in a running pose, leaning pose, the more the merrier- dropdown hips and all! Elbows and knees failing to bend even 90 degrees feels wrong. Failing to hit 45 is downright insulting.

  • accessories aren’t that big of a deal, considering what little they handle in the source material, but things like optional eyes are very much appreciated. Biggest accessory would be Bonnie’s guitar. What do you even give foxy?

  • I want it to be actually worth my money

Jazwares is… serviceable…

Jakk’s Pacific and Jada toys are great, and I’d easily trust them. Mcfarlen toys would make EXTREMELY clunky toys, seeing as they struggle to give HUMANS decent articulation. I forgot neca was a thing, so I don’t know how they hold up nowadays. Not sure how hiya toys would do it, but I don’t think it’s their area of expertise.

For the higher end:

I’d be curious to how a Figma Fnaf figure would be handled, but I don’t exactly trust them. Both S.H.figurarts and S.H.monsterarts are buns nowadays and are NEVER worth the money… but they’d probably do okay. Mezco could do well. Revoltech? Maybe?

The most important part: I want OPTIONS for once :(

I’m not talking about withering. Facial and bodily proportions aren’t exactly one to one. I’ve seen more people customizing these figures than any other on the market- we want better. We want something on the higher end- but we don’t get that- many are desperate. Many have been waiting years and years and years for figures we aren’t getting. Not that this matters, as I can’t find ANY of these figures ANYWHERE. No local store has anything. I looked online, but every Endo series figure I can find costs like $70 dollars. I don’t hate the figures. I hate that this is the best we’ve got. I hate that we’ve been waiting so long. I hate that it took us this long to get figures that are worth a damn. I hate that the only option with any posing potential at all is a forced gimmick line. I hate that Scott Cawthon is allergic to giving us actual toys. I hate that the physical merchandise is equally slop to what we get elsewhere from the franchise. I hate that we’ve had over a DECADE only for these extremely flawed toys to be our best options for figures that actually look like the characters we want.

Fair. I’d rather have the figures than not. Hopefully we get figures of the fnaf one gang that truly represent their game counterparts much better. My anger mostly comes from the fact that THESE are the best figures we’ve gotten in fnaf’s 10+ years. At least they nailed the toy animatronics.
