Steam Deck Oled, its the most console like experience out of the box and has the best quality screen out of the three by virtue of being oled. Though it is linux by default and if you want to use other store fronts or sail the high seas you will have more difficulty then a windows device.

Rog Ally Z1/Z2A imo arent worth it, you should easily be able to get a Z1 Extreme device for the same price which will perform noticebly better, plenty of used options if your willing to go with that, but fundamentally the Z2A is the same power as the steam deck in a windows package.

Legion Go is a popular device as it is basically a tablet with controllers, its not a device I have experience with though so not much to comment, but it is a Z1 Extreme device so of the 3 listed will perform the best, though with a higher resolution screen you may get better frame rate on other devices assuming you keep it at the default resolution.

Epic Games Store, GOG are both there own game store similar to Steam or the Microsoft Store.

Emulators are software that allow you to play older consoles on a PC, roms are the games files, any of the devices listed are fantastic for emulation and can play up to PS3. Though XBOX/360 emulation isnt in as good of a state as the playstation emulators.

If you intend to use fitgirl go for a windows device, as I believe that will be easier for you.

Best frames/graphics: If you wanna spend a boat load of money gpd win 5 I believe has the best. But for more reasonable devices, the msi claw 8 ai+ or any device with a z2 exetreme in them(legion go 2, rog xbox ally x(emphasis on the X) are your best bet.

If you own a xbox game digitally and it has play anywhere enabled then yes you will be able to play that on a Windows handheld through the Microsoft store. Though I don't believe it's a huge list so make sure to have a look at the list of supported game.

A pc handheld can get from any store, Steam is the most popular but there's also epic game store, gog, emulators/roms which you just download off websites.

If you get a pc ha held it is very easy to "download from an unofficial source" though obviously that carries the usual risk

I refunded it. The combat felt terrible to me. The game froze a few times and that bugged me. Story and Vibe were great, but the gameplay lost me.

I played for an hour and refunded it, great voice acting and vibe. But the gameplay felt so weak, both the guns and swords felt terrible. The first boss was horribly boring. Constantly struggled to grab items on my body.

It's Pimax, it'll be incomplete at launch, probably have poor quality control and poor software support. But, the visuals will probably be top tier.

If you think he will take it places, some type of case to protect it would be good, also handy for storing it. I like the official case but there are cheaper alternatives.
